Our season depends on

1. Running game

2. QB

We aren't winning more than 8 in a season with JG at the helm.

I could see a 7-3 season with possibly no Charlotte or Oklahoma game being played and would be satisfied with that.

Outside fan here. As long Guarantano is your QB, he’s good to lose a game or two you shouldn’t lose.

7-5. Lost too many receivers. Don’t have a premier pass rusher. QB position is shaky at best (least talented has the most experience). Hopefully, Bailey is all he is supposed to be, and can start by mid year.
I agree about JG, unless miraculously he changes from Joey Matthews into sr Johnathan Crompton. We have seen both.

.....but with that said, anything less than 8-4 is a step backwards for the Pruitt regime.
This. When Pruitt was hired, his first job was to change the expectations and culture of the program. Fans who are expecting less than 8 in year 3 aren’t helping the matter. Pruitt is a big boy, he can handle the pressure and expectations.

Agree. I have several friends who are die hard fans of other programs (FSU, Texas, tOSU, UGA, Ole Miss just to name a few) and all of them when they watch UT do not understand how JG is a starting QB.

Lack of spring camp is going to be felt most severely at QB and WR, if we have a season this year. None of our backup QBs got enough reps last season, JG is still JG and needed all the practice he could get, and our two most-thrown-to receivers are gone.

I could see the loss of receivers as a potential problem if they had actually received the ball last season.

Works out that way for opponents too. Ga has a new qb, Tua is gone. Maybe JG can throw enough to keep the running game going, not the other way around. I would expect the season to be more ground control and low scoring, all over college football.

It would be nice. Sure wish JG would move on.UT is like the Det Lions. They won't pull a QB when they screw up( starting QB). Don't think Pruitt gave the backups much of a chance last year. J MO.

Maurer doesn't get back-to-back concussions, I doubt JG would have taken the field again.
