ESPN.com Poll Results by State

Apparently people think that losing these 11 players who weren't about to make any significant contribution(short of Morley) is a clear sign that Kiffin has already lost control...

I think it's especially funny that all SEC states (execpt Kentucky and Arkansas) think this is true

Do you need the whole nations approval to know that the guys that left weren't going to see the field or can easily be replaced?

They don't know the team like we do so why does their opinion matter?

I don't think those of us in Georgia think that. He deserves a chance before anyone assumes anything. I think he just went about things wrong, but maybe that's his style. I'm actually looking forward to watching y'all this year.

It's bad reporting. They say 11 players have "left" which is factually true but sounds like they all chose to leave. 4 were dismissed.

I didn't say anything about needing anyones approval...

My point was people who honestly think it's a sign that he's losing control obviously have no idea about the caliber of players in that 11...

People who voted it as a clear sign of losing control obviously don't know anything about the players we've lost or have some sort of bias in their opinion toward Kiffin (i.e. from a rival SEC state)

Let 'em all keep thinking that. Fulmer had made them all lazy and they were content and didn't want to work hard. Kiffin set a fire under their a$$e$ and the ones who couldn't hang of seen the writing on the wall left.

If you think they hate Kiffin now, just wait until we starting beating these teams on the reg, contending for SEC championships on the reg, and making it to BCS bowls on the reg. They're really gonna hate him then.

I know. I didn't really mean that towards you directly. Just saying that we all know the guys that left aren't major losses

Do you really think it matters to us if it's Johnny Majors, Phillip Fulmer, or Lane Kiffin Tank? We hate losing to any coach.....top two right now on the hate list are...

1)Corch Meyers

2)Dick Saban.

12)Lane Kiffin

Going back to my previous post, don't you think he will move up significantly from where you've put him at 12 when we start condending for the SEC east again?

Your top 2 are dead on.

Are you quoting Kenny Powers, or is that how you talk?

I think this has less to do with hating kiffen than how ridiculous he makes UT look.

More than likely Tank, but then again I never hated Fulmer or Majors...I respected them as coaches and the way they carried themselves even when pounding the **** out of UGa.

Agreed...I guess this poll caught me off guard a little cause it's the first time I've seen anyone refer to our situation as Kiffin losing control...

I voted for the 'normal attrition' BTW...but I was just amazed because not only was it the first time I've seen this situation described that way...but apparently alot of people do view it as him losing control of things

Well, that poll settles it, Kiffin has lost control. Surely the rest of the nation has a better handle on Kiffin than us Vol fans.
