I thought about running that calculation. Nice work beating me to it. I like where we sit. I hope it pans out on the field.

I'm guessing the ESPN ranking of our RBs is based mainly on our production last year, which I understand. But i highly doubt we finish this season that low in terms of total yardage on the ground. The threat our wide receivers will present will give all kinds of opportunity for the run game...

Are they doing one for defense too? Id like to average and see where we come out. Nice work posting that offense though. Gets the blood flowing this Monday in mid July.

If the rbs can just be average but block above average and have moderate success catching out of the backfield. then our pass offense will put up so many points on a given day we can beat anyone.

This is an interesting analysis. Thanks for doing it. ...Vandy looks a bit overrated. Very hard to imagine they'll have a better offense than Missouri.

Senior QB, Decent WR (matthews i think?), and they have a good RB... but it is Vandy so i'm gonna agree they are overrated! haha

Exactly... we wont need much from the Run game except a decent run here and there! Just protect bray and we will put some points on the board!

I understand that but I'm ready to see us rise back to the top!!! It doesn't matter what some analyst said.

Gives folks something to talk about in the summer.

Ding Ding Ding. I definitely would prefer our projected weakness compared to Georgias. If OL is a problem for them Murray will have some quick decisions to make. Never in history is there a QB who could excel at his craft through the air without time. Dawgs better be glad Murray can run, because he may have to.

yea, its probably based more on the personnel production individually than collectively. I only say this because georgia is ranked low @8th in RB, and I'm assuming it's because Crowell got the boot.

Just started the D....our Dline came in at 10...due to uncertainty of how Sentimore and McCullers can impact.

From What you laid out there makes more sense wh Georgia as perceived the frontrunner to win the east. I must say I am surprised our dbs werent listed like 1 or 2 spots worse. Weaknesses and strengths in certain positions can mask others. Fore instance if our DL & LBs play up then DBs dont have to cover long and safetys will pick off errant throws. Man awesome work Eric. You are a VFL.

The East could very well be a 3 or 4 team battle this year. Never put too much stock in any hype a Mark Richt coached Georgia team is receiving. They've excelled at underachieving.
