whatifsports is not so kind... although I don't see the runningbacks getting anywhere close to these numbers, even if this prediction is with UT favoring the run.

Funny, just by changing UT to having a balanced offense, we suddenly win, and hold VT to about 31 less points... I guess this is why they play the game.

:lolabove: they both have lincoln kicking 20+ yard FG's.

I have simulated the game in my mind and have come to these conclusions about the game.

1. Both teams will attempt to execute forward passes, some resulting in first downs, others in nominal gains, and some as incompletions. There may be an interception or two.
2. Tennessee will try to establish the running game. Virginia Tech, thinking this is a good idea, will follow suit.
3. Points will be scored. The team that allows the fewest points will win. On the other hand, the team that scores the most points will be victorious.
4. I forgot who won the game though...

The only thing that worries me is the mobile QB. If we contain him and do not turn it over, we win. If we allow him to scramble on 3rd and long for first downs it could be a long night. I see him as no more than Quincy Carter, dare him to beat you throwing. He throws too much we get a int.

I remember watching my first season of football too kid...Don't worry, You'll learn as you get older :eek:lol: Absolutely no way Wisky beats Miami.

You wanted us to hire Mike Leach. I wouldn't be talking to anyone about their knowledge of football if I were you.

So many games are won or have the momentum changed because of special teams play....The Vols don't have any and the Hokies are known for it...If it's close, I'm afraid STs play will be the deciding factor..(Blocked punt or FG or returned punt or KO)...I just hope UT comes out sky-high and puts big points up early or gets a few turnovers so it doesn't come down to a kicker deciding the outcome of the game.....

Explain?

I don't see VT as any more talented on D generally or in passing D specifically than USC or Bama, do you?

Sorry. I was referring to the first one, before it was adjusted. I don't think either team scores so much.
