Not just worse radio show. Their broadcast off the Raiders vs Chargers on MNF was the worst thing I ever listened to.

ahhh Mr Georges, I really liked that place. It's nine freaking dollars now? It was $4 when I first went

nah, I moved away, but last time I was in town (last year for the Miss St. game) I stopped in, it's still called Mr. Georges but he's gone, it's all women and salon chairs now, and I forget how much it was, but it wasn't $5. I pay $9 where I am now... oh well.

:)

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I had to turn the volume down so I couldn't hear those fools. I felt bad for Steve Young.

What did you guys expect? He says all of this stuff and now MOST of you are blaming the media for having fun with it? Come on. Of course they are going to have fun with it.

Saying he should be teaching his cornerbacks how to back peddle but not the coach. They were also laughing about the fact that he said Florida's D has 11 potential NFL players.
Let me see, say nothing controversial and get no viewers or say stuff to tick people off to increase your numbers. Maybe 10% of what they say is worth listening to. All about the money, all.

Hey, I went there too! It was a blast from the past, even in the early 80s... I remember he had the old Tennessee football and basketball media guides on the shelf as reading material. Pretty cool.

there aren't two sports radio hosts in this country that know less about college football than mike and mike.

So Mike Golic, an ex-NFL player with TWO sons playing football at Notre Dame, knows little about college football. Probably friends with Mark May and Jim Rome, too. See the pattern.

Good football genes have nothing to do with analytical capacity. In fact, they're most often inversely proportional. Leads me to believe you were a pro bowl type.

Regardless of what they said about the UT-UF game or any of the spinoff stories this game has invoked, I am amazed that these guys actually get paid to talk. They are both incredibly un-interesting and come across as buffoons. I will turn the radio off before I will listen to these two *******s go at it. Again, this has nothing to do with anything they did or didn't say about this game or UT in general. I have felt this way for years.

While I'm on this subject....does anyone have any idea how much of any given hour is actually spent with the host actually speaking on any program on ESPN radio? I'm guessing it's about 20 minutes of every hour. Dan Davis regurgitates the news for about 10 minutes of ever hour and they easily spend 20 minutes of every hour doing those mind-numbing promos. The only person I actually like to listen to is Colin Cowherd. The most brutally honest man on talk radio. All the others just say **** to be controversial and don't necessarily have an opinion on the subject.

Mike & Mike in the Morning is worst damn radio show I've ever heard. Those guys are about as dry and non-funny as anything I've ever listened too. Greeny attempts to be self-deprecating, but I get the feeling that he's one of the most arrogant, smug SOBs on earth. And Golic seems to think he hung the moon because he played in the NFL. And to top it all off, they're just not even slightly funny. I've hated that show for quite some time. Now I have even more reason to hate it.

They are the pro versions of Mickey Dearstone and Jeff Jacoby.

I don't understand why anyone cares anymore. People said this about Tennessee all last year. They laughed at them and rubbed everything in. Nothing will change until Tennessee does something about it. It may not happen saturday, but we must make a mark somewhere this year or everyone will continue to stick it to us. Everyone talked crap about Miami the past couple of years and how they will never get back to the level where they were because FSU and Florida take all the recruits. Well they are busting GT in the mouth right now and blew up FSU last week. What I'm getting at is Tennessee can change this, one win at a time. GO VOLS!

Now, I see. By your way of thinking, if you were an unsuccessful player or coach, or better yet, never played or coached at any significant level, then you must be the person to run UT's football program. One problem with your logic, genius. Monte Kiffin does know football. That means he has good football genes. Uh oh. But a head coach doesn't need "analytical capacity", right ? Just a big mouth. Hey, you might be a successful head coach with that logic.

I know this isn't my fight, but I find it amusing that a Florida Gator fan would have the audacity to call out ANYBODY'S coach for having a big mouth when they had a coach for over a decade that set the standard for big mouthed A$$HOLES everywhere.

Anyone else care to offer their views on the difference between S.O.S's big mouth and Coach Monte Kiffin's kid's big mouth ? I do agree Spurrier was very obnoxious, but...

I hate to stop you when you're on a short bus roll, but we're freaking talking about Mike Golic, a former D lineman.

Remember, you tossed out his personal playing experience and tossed in the ludicrous bit about his sons as proof that he's a football genius. For Pete's freaking sake, try a little harder.

Never said he was a genius. Just more knowledgeable than morons like you or people like me. I believe experiences and accomplishments are valuable. So, D linemen and UF grads aren't as smart as you. Anyone else ?

I'm not making the generalizations here, your dumb arse is. I said Golic, the specific d lineman who you hold in such high regard, and you, the UF grad who has no sense aren't smart, period. Relative to me simply doesn't matter and never entered the discussion. Please try to keep up. Bad trolls are freaking intolerable.

Solid.

So we're clear: Golic is not the genius you made him out to be and you're clearly challenged as evidenced by using his resume as validation for his genius. What a neat little package.
