Saying he should be teaching his cornerbacks how to back peddle but not the coach. They were also laughing about the fact that he said Florida's D has 11 potential NFL players.

Its the in thing to do. Pile on, i might start a show and just rant and rave all day about Kiffin too. Some folks are making a nice living doing it.

CSS Sports ran a clip from the movie Tombstone and put Myers face over Wyatt Earp as He whiped the coward in the salon...guess who's face was being slapped... you got it.
This was the scene where Earp ask him if He is going to do anything or is He just going to stand there and bleed

Maybe Mike Golic should worry about his 2 overrated sons adn their Jabba the Hut coach at Notre Dame. I got a feeling Kiffin will end up winning aot more games than fat Charlie will a Notre Dame.

I watch and listen to these guys in the morning but they both are idiots. Greenie is a chicken **** whose never worked a hard day in his life with his $400 haircut (yes he said thats what he pays) and Golic was a 3rd rate player who thinks he's funny cause he's fat

Haha, they are the first guys to back pedal when they are proven wrong.. We'll see their back peddling skills in a couple years when kiffin starts winning.. cant wait

Well looking at this game guys, we have nothing to lose. Everyone in the country is expecting us to get pounded by 20-30+ points. If we lose badly, that's what everyone expects. If Florida wins and pounds us badly, that would be what is expected from them. If we win though, we'll be the talk of the country. Only way is up from here. Florida has everything to lose and really nothing to gain from this game. We are quite the opposite now. We have everything to gain and really nothing to lose at this point. Now I know what UCLA felt like last week.

What exactly did they find so humorous about the fact that Florida has 11 potential NFL players on defense? If we're strictly talking starters here, he's probably right. I can't see how that's humorous at all. Their secondary is stacked, the three linebackers should all play on Sunday, and the ends are both 1st day talent. The only question mark is the defensive tackles, and they are still plenty good.

I pay $9 for my haircut... I used to pay $5 at Mr. Georges off Middlebrook Pike but those days are long gone.

I agree, I thought that was a dumb response to his comment. I think anyone that knows anything about college football knows their starting D will all be playing in the NFL at some point and will absolutely be the best defense we'll play against all season. I think they just thought Kiffin was sucking up to Florida when he made that comment...which he wasn't he was just speaking the truth.

Mike & Mike in the Morning is worst damn radio show I've ever heard. Those guys are about as dry and non-funny as anything I've ever listened too. Greeny attempts to be self-deprecating, but I get the feeling that he's one of the most arrogant, smug SOBs on earth. And Golic seems to think he hung the moon because he played in the NFL. And to top it all off, they're just not even slightly funny. I've hated that show for quite some time. Now I have even more reason to hate it.

Well... what do you expect them to do? Kiffin makes a very attractive target. He's the brash, young, big mouthed guy new to the sport that's been messing with the experienced and accomplished veteran(s).

Then he gets beat by a less talented team at home.

You better expect him to get razzed about that. He should be razzed about that.

Makes him look more credible if he does pull off the upset. If they don't win then they played against the best d in the country. I lerned that on this bord

There was one good part:


When they were talking about a Phillies exec that lost his championship ring and Greeny wouldn't listen to Golic because he never won a championship.

He just kept rubbing that fact in... even had an ESPN analyst that had won a ring call in to talk about it and why Golic wouldn't know because he hadn't won.

there aren't two sports radio hosts in this country that know less about college football than mike and mike.

I love that show. Especially, when they talk about Golic's mancrush on Quinn. I'm kind of enjoying the ride, as a 28.5 underdog, we have two articles in USA Today.com, our logos are all over ESPN not to metion the countless other articles and media out there about this weekend and we're stilling pulling recruits.

Should our Vols accomplish the impossible and upset the mighty undefeatable Gators....the payoff...the sweetest part will be the next 7 days watching the entire sports press world cough, gag, backpedal, confess, and change their opinions admitting ignorance of the game.
