Ole' Pat Martin is on the list...You guys remember him?

Ole' didn't make it through camp Pat Martin?

There's a lot of names that are on there that UT formerly wanted or had...

Brassell, Ambles, Cameron Clear, Pat Martin, Nick Montana, Chris Martin, and oh snap...

Jesse Scroggins!

Someone call Sab!

The only problem is if they are on this list that means they were a bust in some form or another. This has been a serious problem for UT, players leaving the program. Think about if Bryce Brown, Janzen Jackson, David Oku, and Da'Rick could have kept their acts together....

Ugh. Yes. Not to mention Aaron Douglas (RIP) and Cameron Clear.

So many of these football players ruin their own careers because either they can't stay out of trouble, or they just didn't get it done in the classroom.

I hate it for them, but many times, the fault is only theirs. Bryce Brown, I'm not sure how much of his episode here was his fault. Either way he is doing well now.

But yes, UT has had many players that it is just unfortunate what became of their careers here. Hopefully that doesn't continue. I was glad that FOR THE MOST PART, Dooley tried to get high quality character kids. We definitely needed that at the time.

HOw in the world did Dooley not see the issues Bonner had? It was obvious during his official visit at UGA.

This punk went from this offer list.....

Markeith Ambles - Yahoo! Sports

to this offer list.

Football Recruiting - Markeith Ambles - Player Profiles - ESPN

:eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:

Wow. I bet he wishes he still had that UT offer now.

In all seriousness, if this kid would check himself and keep his grades up, I wouldn't mind having him. It's obvious he is a talent, just too many other things getting in the way.

Of course, he probably won't do that. So therefore, Nevada seems like a good place for him.
