This is for those who say ESPN isn't biased towards UT. On the website, they have the plays of the week. JP's block should be # 3(at least it was when they showed it on SportsCenter). On the site, they skip directly from #4 to #2. Just erased it completely. Check it out:

as bad as they are, they're not any more negative than John 'I Think' Pennington. If Vols listened to him, they would have lost the first game. and the second. And the third. And he'll surely decide they won't win tomorrow.

Honestly, who cares? Just because ESPN.com doesn't show the highlight does it mean that JP didn't block that shot and we didn't win the game? Ill trade ESPN never showing another UT highlight for continuing to win these games. Come on guys....

It was funny watchin Digger this morning when he was forced to talk about us. He seemed all depressed looking the whole segment. He begrudgingly gave our D props. Although u can tell he either caught some crap from his fellow employees all night about that WHO WHO line. I hope it was he jus realized wow i'm a more worthless then a used droplet of douche water after the way i doubted the S.E.C.!!!!! Either way im going to quote the great Triumph the dog and say " I POOP ON YOU DIGGER PHELPS!:eek:lol:

Yes it is obvious that ESPN has an obvious bias when they spent about 20 to 30 minutes talking about us on college basketball tonight and 3 of the 4 experts picked us to beat Michigan State.

There are over 100 other Division 1 schools and we are in the top 10% in terms of coverage. You can make an argument that one person is biased against us but to say the entire network has a bias against Tennessee is just stupid.

ESPN doesn't hate us but it is pretty much a given that some of their people don't like UT, Bruce, etc. That also applies to other schools and teams. It isn't a conspiracy, but it exists. Dukehead V at one point openly stated he didn't like Pearl and he has given no indication that his opinion has changed.

I loathe Digger and his utter disdain for any mid-majors or non-big-name programs. But during last night's wrap-up, he said Tennessee is the team to watch to win it all. Something along the lines of "if they stay focused". I re-watched the segment on my DVR just to be sure I wasn't hallucinating.

Oddly, later still in the show, he picked Michigan State to beat UT, so take it for what it's worth.

i thought the lob from maze beyond half court to prince was play of the year for ut, because there was defenders in the air trying to knock it down,and it was beautiful

I'm with you, Boz. I was wondering last night why the networks didn't make a bigger show out of that clip. That was NBA good.
