We are probably going to end up 5th or 6th in Rivals (after we sign Bynum next week)...who is much better at recruiting rankings than ESPN.

ESPN is too big of a network. They have their hand in everything. This has led to them hiring a bunch of people that aren't qualified to do certain things. Then continue to be behind in predicting which recruits are good.

I wouldn't put too much thought into their rankings.

They don't include JUCO's, and three of our best recruits are JUCO's. I'd say ESPN is accurate based upon what they do rate, but their rating system as a whole is fundamentally flawed by failing to include JUCO's.

Rivals has us at 18 and that's with the Patterson surprise. That's the most generous of the rankings I've seen. I don't see Bynum pushing us up to 5th or 6th if we get him.

I can't believe people are still stupid enough to care about this. Call me out on this if Tennessee finishes 9th in the SEC on the field in 2014 and 2015.

Seem like alot of you'll still believe in ufo and Elvis is still alive. Espn has nothing to do with us not being able to land top recruit or keep the ones we thought we had.

Patterson isn't a top recruit? Huh, I thought he was the #1 Juco prospect.

ESPN is worthless in recruiting rankings since they dont rank JUCO's

our 2 best recruits were CP and Mcullers so were not going to look as good on that site

when you look at rivals it will look a lot better b/c they count JUCOs

Don't even keep track of the ESPN rankings b/c they don't include JUCO's..Like someone said, 3 of our best recruits were JUCO's.:ermm:

a number 2 class would be SICK. it would also be completely wishful thinking for the foreseeable future. however, it is nice to think about...
