For less than $10 a week you never have to worry about whether the game you want to see is on. It's well worth it.

My family gets gameplan every year. Me and my dad love it. Unfortunately, I am leaving for college soon, and wont be able to come home to watch many of the games. I don't live where I can get Raycom, but is it possible to find feeds via the internet? Or am I stuck with radio????

If your isp subscribes to ESPN360, then you can watch the games online (that is, the games that are on gameplan). Also, yahoo sports should show the raycom games.

what you need to do is get that slingbox (I think thats what its called) thing, you hook it up to your dads tv and you can watch on your computer.. pretty cool idea actually. I'm going to get it for myself this year for tailgating and bring my laptop

edit: yeah its slingbox http://www.slingmedia.com/go/slingboxhttp://www.slingmedia.com/

just looked up ESPNs schedule for this saturday, for gameplan it's showing either florida-hawaii or georgia-georgia southern at 12:30, auburn-LA monroe at 7, and then clemson-alabama at 8.

I paid over a $100 for Gameplan last season & we never were able to watch a single game....from anybody. Pissed me off.
I don't have any experience with Gameplan (we get all Tennessee games here in Memphis including ppv) but a good friend of mine had virtually the same experience as you. He said something like he just got two or three games nobody wanted to watch and swore he would never get it again. :dunno:

So I bought DirecTV with the purchase of my new 50-something-inch HDTV in August. I thought hey, Gameplan will be a nice addition and I will see all the Vols games!

WRONG!

Since I live in Tennessee, and most of you might already know this, I won't be able to access any games that are scheduled for PPV. A friend of mine enlightened me to this fact, so I got angry and called.

Now this section is for those of you that don't already know this...

You may find a snot-nosed operator that will tell you that, since the season has already started, there's nothing they can do. Also, since I'm on a contract, to discontinue my DirecTV service (out of anger of the non-support) will cost hundreds of dollars.

So I got angry, waited a little bit, and called back.

I got a different operator, and she told me that they were able to give only a $25 credit to my bill. I told her that I could work with that as long as I was able to keep the service, and she said that is fine.

Amazingly, she eventually gave me half of my subscription price back ($59.50), just because she was really nice and -

she was from the south and understood SEC football religion.

So if you're ticked that you bought the Gameplan, call DirecTV and get half of your money back. And if you need some backup, send me a private message and I'll help you get some money back from DirecTV.

They never tell you when you're ordering what you can't do, and I wasn't informed enough to ask. Good Luck!

So let me get this straight G'Town...you can't watch UT on gameplan only b/c you live in Tennessee? So if I had DirectTV in MO I could prob still see the games. This is just like a regional blackout kind of thing correct?

All the more reason to stay with cable. Full pro-rated refund on NCAA Gameplan and......you can buy it week to week for $21 which is the best way to go since you really don't need it for the full year in most cases.
