ESPN FPI now favoring our Vols

Even in our lucky win against UGA in 2016, they still kind of controlled the lines of scrimmage.
Hail Mary may have been lucky but we would've never needed a Hail Mary if we weren't running Cover 2 Man with 15 seconds left in the game. Bob Shoop was a terrible DC in late game situations. Just like Florida 2017.

The Vols defense has to get pressure on Stockton, otherwise he’ll have an unchallenging day throwing the football to complete valuable passes.

Also, the Vols offensive line controlling line of scrimmage would make it very favorable for the Vols offense to prosper running the football.

If the Vols can achieve those tasks then realistically it’ll be a close game that they have a realistic chance of winning in the 4th Quarter which hasn’t happened in the 8 game losing streak to the Georgia Bulldogs.

I should have said they are getting my hopes up and potentially making the crash harder. I do have hope, though I wouldn't say a lot.

It’s best to be optimistic except realistic not rose colored glasses.
It’s a coin flip game that the Bulldogs have a realistic chance of winning.

I am feeling optimistic about tomorrow. I haven't been this confident about playing Georgia since 2016 .... not even in 2022 did I like our chances this much. Their offense just doesn't look as explosive. I don't see a Bowers or a McConkey out there, and Stockton looks gun shy. I could be misguided, but I think we at least have a shot.

GO VOLS!!!!!!

Most likely the Bulldogs have been holding their cards close to their vest before playing the Vols except for the Bulldogs showing they have reliable talented RBs much like past seasons in the Smart era.

I’m feeling optimistic about the Vols defeating the freakin Bulldogs similar to how I felt before Tennessee played Alabama in the 2022 Season.

The Vols defense can make it a challenging day for Stockton to throw the football if they can get pressure on him.
Stockton is making his first road start in Rocky Top which is a high bar challenge similar to Husky Stadium.

The Vols offensive line would make it favorable for the Vols to keep the game close since they could prosper running the football, also Aguilar is likely to prosper completing deep balls with valuable time to throw, and he could realistically have a great game for throwing.
