Where do I start? ESPN is still yapping about the CLK vs. Urban Cryer fued. Kirk Herbstreit is placing the blame on CLK saying its childish and he needs to move on. The other analyst says, but isnt this like the old days when Spurrier used to do this to Fulmer and Herbgeek says, that was all in good fun, with CLK its getting personal. Huh? Kirk Herbstreit needs to shut his mouth and worry about his Ohio St. Suckeyes! God I cant wait until CLK has 2 or 3 of his recruiting classes together!!!!

PTI sided with Kiffen tonight.

Why make excuses for a win?

I will forgive your poor spelling of Kiffin, only because I agree with you.

That was my point earlier today: If Gators win by 40 does Meyer once mention injuries or illness?

Answer: NO

I actually agree with Herbstreit that the UT - UF talking should come to a halt soon. UT is in the news constantly already. However, CLK can't let CUM take shots at us for free.

Nice Hat - Why does he have to love CUM so much.

Once CLK starts winning, all these talking heads will jump aboard and act like they have always been there.

ps I have a strong dislike for all Ohio State fans.
I go to Ohio U. and their are 20 OSU fans for every OU fan. Of course, I LOVE UT, but that's different. :)

I disagree 100%! These idiots in the media are the ones asking CLK these stupid *** questions about Urban Cryer and then all they play his answer on ESNP 24/7. CLK isnt just saying stuff, hes asked, he answers.

The reason they keep asking is because they keep mixing it up. If he and CUM both just played it off and said nothing else- story over.

If they want CLK to stop talkin thats one thing but you cant say that Spurrier doing the exact same thing was all in good fun and what CLK is doing is personal. Its pure Vol hatred on Kirk Douchstreits part!

ESPN has never been pro Tennessee, never will be, and I really don't see where it comes from. Maybe Herby has sour grapes from the Citrus Bowl, Jay Graham upstaged Heisman Eddie and we all know the rest of the story! We will never win this one, Fulmer clapped his hands and kept his mouth shut from start to finish and they bashed us. Now CLK is here and isn't afraid to mix it up and he's childish. When we win our next BCS Nat. Championship it will be like 98, all the "experts" picked FSU to run us out of the stadium, not one person in the media picked us to win, then after we nailed it all we heard was "if Weinke would've played...." never mind the vaunted FSU defense that we bombed on. In closing, we know what we have here in Big Orange Country, and all the "haters" can never take it away! Go Vols!!:espn:

They don't want CLK to stop talking... are you kidding? It's leading Sportscenter a couple times a day. They love it. Herbstreits playing the other side I'm guessing since 90 % of the ESPN hosts today have been on Kiffin's side and he was trying to mix it up a bit with the anchor.

Today, there was an African American girl on that was saying stuff like CLK is 2-0 against CUM. She sais, "appologies to Mike Leach, but CLK is now the most exciting coach in college FB. Recruits across the nation are taking notice. Genious AND entertaining". Stuff like that...I was blown away

Of course certain reporters and analysts have their biases, but in general it's just that ESPN and the media love "dirt" and love to sensationalize it and stir the pot. I guess they think that's what their viewers want to see, hear and read. Maybe a lot of folks do. I for one wish they'd focus more on reporting about the coaches and players who are saying and doing classy things and provide more in depth analysis of teams and players rather than reporting so much junk. There are also lots of the inspiring feel good types of "outside the lines" stories out there, but the media rarely reports them anymore.

Taking the high road and giving your opponents and rivals respect and credit gets you and your program a lot further in the long run than doing things like making excuses and trading verbal jabs like Kiffin and Meyer are doing. You would think a couple of grown men in their positions would have learned that by now. I was impressed by the way Carroll and Sarkesian handled their situation with such class. ESPN won't talk about that or their remarks nearly as much as they do Kiffin and Meyer. Instead, they'll do their best to help stir it up between Kiffin and Meyer.

and of course we all wish coaches would never ever lie and say they will never be a coach at such and such and then show up there the next day.

Glad at least Bama has a coach with no low-rent history.

Every team thinks ESPN hates them, except USC and Florida. They bash everyone else pretty equally i think.
