I cannot remember the last time they were at a non-ABC/ESPN game.

that's how tight television contracts are nowadays. what do you expect? ABC/ESPN/Disney doesn't want to share its business with CBS

Yeah this game means nothing. What were they thinking

I know what you are saying, but Texas vs. Texas Tech is not really interesting either.

At least with the UF/UT game there is Kiffin vs. Meyer angle to it.

Not saying, I am surprised, but if both games were on ESPN which one do they pick?

The angle has lost its luster since the outcome of saturday. 2-0 Florida versus 2-0 Tennessee you bet they'd be there. There is also the little matter of being 28 1/2 point dogs. That's pretty much saying we stink.

I am a little surprised, only because of how ESPN likes to cram the anti-Kiffin angle down everyones throats. But as stated earlier on here, the UT game is not at an ESPN affiliated site. I dont remember last time this happened during the regular season.

We don't deserve to be part of Game Day at all...... Be real, just because our Coach told a "joke" at a Boosteer meeting, doesn't meen anyone outside TN gives a sh!t.

who cares? they would just piss all of us off anyway talking for 2 hours straight about how much florida is going to dominate us. they would not say ANYTHING good about tennessee. they would run kiffin statements for forever, then make comments about it. then they would talk about how cool tebow is. then they would run specials on other florida players. then interviews about how bad everyone wants to terminate us. maybe 5 good minutes about eric berry and THAT'S IT! there would be very little to nothing to gain from having CFB Gameday going to FLorida.

Well the Texas T.tech game also has the famous fail to push out of bounds from last year and the cost the longhorns playing in the national title game

If I were an average football fan anywhere in the country other than the south, I'd think I'd be a lot more interested in the Texas/Texas Tech rematch than I would be in watching Florida stomp a Tennessee team that hasn't been on my radar in years. I can't imagine that the Kiffin/Meyer thing is remotely interesting to anybody that isn't an SEC guy.

I wouldn't go as far as to say having ESPN Gameday at your game is any special kind of honor.

I am glad. Herbstreet on Atlanta radio yesterday said the first quarter may be close but then Florida will have shut down the run and Crompton will be forced into mistakes. Tennessee won't get another first down and Florida will score every possession. I would rather not listen to that an hour and a half before the game so focus on the T Tech / Texas game.

Agree, they were planning on coming until Crompton started throwing to the wrong team

Why do people really even care about gameday? It's just a show.... It's the football game that matters!

If UT had beat ucla, gameday would be in Gainesville.

nope sorry; ABC gameday wasnt going to be on a CBS game unless there were no network-decent games on ABC or the CBS game was two top 10 teams...neither of those would have happened, especially when ABC's got Colt McCoy and Mac Brown essentially playing the team that cost them playing in the national championship

But simply too, you just dont share business with your competition, ever
