i think we will get a top 3 seed, but i don't want people to say that our team was a "suprise"...like they have the last 2 years....

Anyone think we can get a 1 seed. I think that is a little optimistic but who knows?

We can get a 1 seed. We should have a great out of conference schedule that will boost our resume and RPI if we can win them.

Unless we win 30 games I doubt we will get a 1 seed, just based on the fact that I still don't think traditionalists guys like Dick Vitale quite believe that Tennessee can have a great (not good) basketball team

The past two tournaments we have been seeded higher than we most likely should have been. If we win the SEC, we will most likely get a 1 seed.

However, right now we have as good a shot at getting a 1 seed as we do of missing the Tourney and the NIT. There is a lot of time between now and December. A lot of players will be recruited. Team dynamics across the nation will change. Chism could take a swing at Crews this summer (a al Elgrace)...

Too much can go on to put too much faith in 5 guys from now until November.

Wow. What is the world coming to when Tennessee fans are complaining that their projected 3-seed one year out is too low?

The real question is who do they think will be a #1 seed in 2017?

I'm so tired of these projections when the season has barely ended.

Yeah I don't see why our 5 seed was an overseed... There's also a big difference between getting a 5 seed and a 1 seed, things like tradition and tournament records come into play when you're trying to get a 1 seed.

Yep. If you look at it backwards, by making the sweet Sixteen, clearly the Vols should've been at least a 4.

Does that mean that two years ago you were overrated as a 3 seed when you barely hung on in Round One and were out in Round Two?
