Paul Johnson, the GT current head coach... was at Navy prior to going to GT, not AF.

besides the mental fart on that note, how do you feel about my post and the bowl season all together anyway?

i LOVE football but some of those games aren't even worth watching. there's about 17 or 18 bowls I care about but I'd MUCH rather have them split out over a week or 8 or 9 day period from the 29th or 30th through the BCS NC

and i would love for UT to play VT every year so i can shut up my cocky hokie friends on a yearly basis....because winning the ACC is like being the tallest midget, yeah you might get a plaque and your name in the books but when it comes down to it does anyone even care or pay attention to this conference until basketball season?

While VT have won the ACC, a 9-4 team does not deserve to go to a BCS bowl. A season with four losses does not signify an elite team. Good grief, that team wasn't even RANKED in the BCS until last week.

If the current bowl system is going to be maintained, I think there should be a loss maximum implemented for BCS bowls - even though I know that would be problematic.

i think the ACC should be placed on a 10 year BCS bowl probation, i mean c'mon, theyre what 1-9 ever in the BCS games?....pathetic, bump them down to I-AA or FCS or whatever its called

The ACC all together is a pile of crap. They've never lived up to expectations. If Vandy was in that conference they'd win every year.
