Man I hope we go to the Cotton bowl. First im stationed here in Little Rock, AR. Second I get tired of hearing the Big 12 would dominate the SEC. We got a couple big 12 homers but alot of SEC ones too! GO VOLS!

I'd much rather see the Cotton, but it won't happen... plan on the Outback.

and IMO the tradition of the Cotton Bowl is way better than the Outback. I dont want to go and play a boring Wisky team again. I just dont like the Big 10 at all. IMO the bowls rank like this:

BCS Bowls
Capitol One
Cotton Bowl
Outback
Chic Fila

and the rest dont matter.

The Cotton Bowl takes the slight edge over the Outback. The Outback would be great for recruiting purposes though.

I wouldn't get overly confident about our chances against either Okla or Okla St

Not over confident...never said we would crush either of those teams. I would just like to play them. Man, the tradition of Tennessee and Oklahoma match-up in the Cotton Bowl...could you imagine??

Boy, the loser of yesterday's game goes from the Outback to Papa John's? That's one costly loss.

Yeah- I think Tenn-Okla is an attractive matchup.

Outback will not pass on Tennessee and there won't be a "deal" with the Cotton so they don't have Ole Miss back to back. This is ALL ABOUT MAKING $$$$$$ and putting butts in the seats. I'm sure the Vols would prefer Outback as its a much nicer vacation spot, but hey, beggers can't be choosy. Who would have thought a 7-5 team would be fretting over these two jewels. I'm just happy to go Bowling again. We will win the Outback Bowl....... Book it!!!

Sorry to say it but Oklahoma would probably beat us like a dirty rug. I'd like to play them just not this year with so many freshmen. And hopefully Kiffin will prepare us better than Fulmer did. I just don't think he approached it seriously enough. We've lost too many games that we should have won.

UGA should be in the Papa John's, but the Chick-Fil-A will never pass up on the instate team. Living in GA it would be great to see the UGA fans whine about it.

Things could have really been messy if ARK had beaten LSU....
We could have had a shot at the Capital One in that case
But then again...about 4 teams would have be stating their case

like I've said, I'll take a Primetime game on New Year's Eve over a game on New Year's morning at 11 when people are too hungover to watch. the Peach would be more of an audience and probably a better opponent since it looks like Va. Tech will go there. Plus really wants to put a strangle hold on the state of Georgia in recruiting.

Be careful...this looks like one of those sites that screwed over thousands of folks at the Olympics last year.

Why pay more than face value when great seats are still available thru Outback Bowl on Ticketmaster?

It's been said that the Cotton Bowl likes a Western Div. team. Sounds like an Arkansas team, might could get the nod if that's the case.
