Good article. Glad to be able to say he was a Vol. He will be in the Hall of Fame at the next level when it is all said & done no doubt about it.

Good read...and I liked that it didn't read like all of the other articles about him. Nice change of pace.

I did notice in the article it said that EB single handedly held WKU to 83 yards....UH....NOT!!!!

Great article. But...uh....what is this, exactly?

What we talkin' about the (USC safety) Taylor Mays, (South Carolina linebacker) Eric Norwood or the best? What we talkin' about 12 interceptions in two years or teams being scared to put him to the test? What we talkin' about his gift or the fact that there is no curse? What we talkin' about the Hova of college football or a Hova verse?

What we talkin' about is the dude who's already being called "The Fifth Dimension" because what he does on the field is close to impossible to replicate on EA's "NCAA Football 10" video game. What we talkin' about is a combination of Deion Sanders, Charles Woodson, Reed, Rod Woodson and Nnamdi Asomugha. With the potential to reach their levels the minute he reaches the next level.

What we talkin' about??

It's Scoop Jackson, don't put too much thought into it. He's known for taking a great article and throwing something nonsensical right into the mix, keeps ya on your toes haha

I had a hard time getting past this one:

"His moms made the first tape..."

Like he had more than one...

Eric Berry is my 2cd favorite Vol ever, behind Manning. I have been a fan since 1996 (I was 11 going to my first UT game), I have seen alot of great talent, but Eric Berry and Peyton Manning will forever be in a class of their own among Vol athletes. We will be talking about EB for the rest of our lives on here. Eric Berry you truly are a special talent and person, and you deserve everything you get! (which IMO he should get better money the Stafford)

<-----Hes my favorite person in the world, hopefully one day he will share the passion that I do for the Vols, who knows maybe I produced the next Peyton Manning! But if he grows to be anything like me he will be all VOL!

He's actually known for being the worst writer currently employed by ESPN...and quite possibly the worst sportswriter I have ever read.

Let's call a spade a spade.

Give that piece to a competent writer, and it could have been really good.

Saw someone else was bothered.

What we talkin about, a great article ruined by jive talk? What we talkin about a guy who wants a source award more than a pulitzer? What we talkin about, the modern ministrel doing his dance?

That part sucked. Stephen A. Smith, Scoop Jackson, the Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson of sports.

Thank God there is Jason Whitlock, the Thomas Sowell of sports. He hates racism and so do I...

I thought Scoop Jackson only writes about NBA?

Anyway, calling Berry "a combination of Deion Sanders, Charles Woodson, (Ed) Reed, Rod Woodson and Nnamdi Asomugha. With the potential to reach their levels the minute he reaches the next level." is really mind-boggling.

You don't think he has the potential of all those players???

Even with the jive it's the same stuff that needs to start rolling if he's to stand on the stage in NY.

He works for Espn and IMO they're the ones who helped Woodson win.
