IMO any Tennessee player awarded the Heisman should be at the ceremony, accept the award. Then on behalf of the University of Tennessee and Peyton Manning promptly take it, pretend to wipe his donkey with it, drop it on the floor, and walk out.

No---accept it and say "I am humbled by the fact that I am the first Tennessee Vol to win this award when there have obviously been more deserving Volunteers that for whatever reason--didn't measure up".

How's it going Nash?

And there's no way you predicted Tebow was going to win when he hadn't been a starter prior to that season. Same goes for Ingram. Predicting Heisman at year start is different than predicting Heismans for an incoming freshman.

I predicted Tebow would win it his sophomore year while he was still in college. Trust me guys, Nance will be Heisman his junior season.

I think we should give away 100,000 Nash 4 Heisman shirts at our first game next year.

Berry4heisman was a flop, but Nance4Heisman shirts would show the nation we have returned to glory.
Come on Nash, enough is enough. We hope you play great for the Volunteers but you don't need to shamelessly promote yourself in here... :eek:lol:

You guys need to give him a chance. After Kiffin leaving our program in shambles, Nash Nance represents hope that we can return to what we once were.

One of the reasons that Nance didn't receive more stars is because of his unwillingness to shamelessly promote himself. This is a kid that will come in and work hard, excel in the class room, and make us want to rename a street after him. If you've read the book The Blind Side you'll know that one of the major parts of the recruiting services' rankings are based off interviews with the kids. Him not tooting his own horn just shows how humble of a person he is.

dude what are you smoking and can I have some? Either you're kidding. Right? You are kidding? Or you've lost your ever loving mind. Tim didn't win 2 and he was basically the whole freaking team. Peyton didn't win one. Peyton! Mr. I don't even need an offensive coordinator because I'm just that dang good. I will give any new recruit the benefit that they may win one ... but two. herschel walker didn't win two.

Are you Nash's lover or something? What's your infatuation with this person? I bet every post you have on here is about Nance.

Wow, I am sorry for being proud of my University. We recruited a great athlete and the future of this program is now in his hands. I apologize for being pumped about a huge recruit.

Didn't know a two star QB was anything to get excited about, but I may be wrong. It's just kind of weird every thread you've been own you've been building him up. Just don't make him into another Rod Wilks.
