Incredible article. THAT is good reporting and writing. It points out so much that most posters in this forum have either ignored or disregarded: we are moving forward. Dawn, Geno, etc. did not revolutionize the game like Pat did and like Kim is doing. Complete belief in her.

I emailed the writer stating that while her article was a good one, the picture left much to be desired. I also pointed out it might not be a good idea to leave the picture choice to a bunch of Uconn grads in Bristol.

Danny pretty much articulated what I told a few people who questioned the hire. Yes, it's a risk, but you could hire anyone at Tennessee if all you want to do is get to the NCAA tournament every year and maybe win a game or two. Kellie could have done that for 20 more years if that is all you want.

But Danny wants more banners and so does everyone else. And you can't hire Geno, Dawn, or Kim Mulkey--you have to go through them. If you want to get this program back where it belongs, you have to find the next great coach, and to find her, you have to be willing to take a chance.

Both men & women teams are going to require patience and fans flushing out last season!! You going to have to mentally regroup with the men team. This is a new team & right now the biggest issue I see is “chemistry”… I think once the chemistry forms, the flow of the game and what they trying to do will be easier. But it’s just going to take time. This Saturday Louisville game is going to be a great test.
