ESPN and TN

I have friends who work at ESPN - some low and some very high up.

ESPN does really hate us. At least the people with power sure do.

Total BS. Do you know how many "people with power" exist at that network? To generalize and say they, to a person, "hate" us is laughable.

This belief that ESPN has some grudge and/or vendetta against us is utter nonsense. The reality is that UT football has become, on a national level, inconsequential. We are an bottom-tier SEC program right now, and we aren't interesting programming, from a TV standpoint.

I have numerous friends at ESPN, and I have worked with the Gameday crew. Nobody ever expressed anything resembling hatred over UT. If anything, the overriding feeling was that many wished we would be relevant again - just that it seemed/seems a long way off.

Sometimes I question the sanity of our fanbase.....

It's Chris Low . He represents us to ESPN and nobody likes that idiot , because he is the reason Im permanently banned from volquest and that's the reason I hate Hubbs .

well please pass along a message from the volnation.

VolNation won't watch ESPN any more. We will continue to boycott ESPN until they stop the "hate".

Speak for yourself.

Watch ESPN and its affiliates more than anything else. Won't stop, can't stop, really don't care. They'll talk about us when there's something to talk about.

We've also been removed from the College Game Day opening song. Been replaced by TCU...

Sorry if already posted. Didn't read all 8 pages.

it may have something to do with our team being irrelevant the last 5 years and backing out of games like a mound of vagina

Did the others who received coverage start late or actually get interrupted? Maybe that was the difference. Even if it received minimal coverage like someone mentioned, a late start doesn't have the same excitement as having teams have to flee from the field DURING a game. Just sayin...

all that has changed now... we're the SEC our conference has whored out to espn

give them the cold shoulder and they will be offering bjs for interviews

I am understanding more and more that ESPN really does hate Tennessee. I thought this concept was just a joke at first, but it seems to be more evident every day. They were talking about weather delays during the weekend on the Marshall and WV game and TN wasn't even thought about or mentioned. Kinda strange, that's all I am saying.

You should start a petition for ESPN to be shut down for the hate they have for us.

It gets old hearing everyone b***h and moan about how much Espn hates us.. Who gives a rat's harry ass if they like us or not. At the ending the day it doesn't amount to hill of beans. IMO JMO

You hate it so much you opened a thread about it, and posted in it. Makes sense

Well i dont mind not being mentioned when it comes to weather delays, but when looking on the blog to see what was said about our game and all I can find is a small little post about our run game not being that good is a joke. Oh and while looking to find that 1 little post I got to see WAY too many posts on florida, basically anytime anyone moved they decided to make a blog post about it and they played fau. Heck florida probabl had as many as lsu n uga combined and they were in 2 of the top 3 games of the week(our game obviously being the #1 game of the week LOL).

You could watch the game on ESPN 3. All military bases are supposed to get ESPN 3 for free.

When i went on the site it said you had to mark which cable company you were with to stream it. Don't have cable here and there wasn't an overseas place to click, any help would be appreciated would love to be able to stream it

Are any of your fellow soldiers IT guys? If so, ask them for help.

Besides that, you could log in remotely if you have any family back stateside that subscribe to a cable provider that's listed on the espn3 site. Nowadays, the majority of cable providers (major and minor) are affiliated with espn3.

For example, if they had Charter, they could give you their login info so that you could have remote access.

As for the military base thing, its free at military bases, but this doesn't mean every military installation. I believe the sysadmin for each place needs to activate it. If you're at a major base/fort/camp stateside, you'd probably be ok, but depending on what country you're currently in, and whether its a brick and mortar installation or sandbags and barbwire probably has an impact.

Good luck, and if I can be of further assistance, let me know. There is usually a Justin.tv stream broadcasting the game as well.

Thanks Ellunitiko i will try that and Justin TV as well. Have the Cinci game, Fla game which AFN should carry, bye week then i should be heading home. Should be home for UGA game
