ESPN hated us when we were winning.

They wanted us to lose every week in '98 and were responsible for Peyton not winning the Heisman.

Good point! - Woodson turned out to a great player in the NFL and will more than likely will make the HOF.

Manning is a legend in the NFL and in College.....

I've seen ole miss byu highlights but not a single UT mention. Explain that to me.

You could watch the game on ESPN 3. All military bases are supposed to get ESPN 3 for free.

Unfortunately we have too much ESPN coverage on this stuff and not about the teams winning.

I'm not so sure about the ESPN "hate" anymore. Didn't CDD spend a day at the ESPN campus before the rest of the SEC coaches were there? We played a lower tier team and we beat them(although they are a very good lower tier team.) The only way we were going to get national coverage from this game was to lose the game. We'll get plenty of coverage when we play Florida and Alabama.

Best way to shut up your critics is to get better and beat some quality teams. Once you do that, they have no choice but to cover you. Granted this is the first game but I bet Dooley is saying "we just got to get better". Bet they will get drilled on holding on to and protecting the ball this week. We can't have that against the SEC big boys and expect to win. Still think the VOLS did well, everything considered; got work to do on the run game for sure.

Not just that though cbs news tonight said there was 3 major football teams delayed by weather Iowa,Mich, and notre dame they didnt even mention UT!!!!!

saw it on ESPN also but they had West Va, ND and Michigan and not Iowa (or UT)

Yeah, ESPN hated us as Bruce was featured on PTI and basically was slurped by all of ESPN analysts/play by play guys.
