I have friends who work at ESPN - some low and some very high up.

ESPN does really hate us. At least the people with power sure do.

Well so be it then, but, if we start winning they'll have no other choice but to cover us! they do have sponsors to appease..

It gets old hearing everyone b***h and moan about how much Espn hates us.. Who gives a rat's harry ass if they like us or not. At the ending the day it doesn't amount to hill of beans. IMO JMO

Because according to some of the genius residing here, the program is hated by ESPN, ABC and CBS.

When you consider the Notre Dame TV deal you could probably throw NBC in there too.

Apparently the only good tv relationships we have include the local knoxville Fox stations and PBS.

I've heard nasty rumors that ESPN has hired UT grads to head up their SEC blog, speak on Around the Horn, become one of their top football journalists, and hire numerous alumni to work on their staff so they can infiltrate and exploit us.

On a serious note, it can be frustrating but were not the only program that sees their coverage wane when they're not playing to historical standards.
