ESPN Analyst Just Said...

ESPN is becoming more and more the same show aired 100 times a day.

Host 1: An outlandish prospector type who hardly ever gets anything right, but when he does he acts like a Vandy fan when they win. "I'll tell you what, (insert underdog here) is going to win this weekend." Come Monday, if they were right, they rub it in everyone's face. If they were wrong they change the subject quickly and move on to their new shocker.

Host 2: Same old guy who makes the conservative sports-fan picks. These are the guys that call for the Goliath to win EVERY time, and if they underdog wins it's all of a sudden the greatest game of all time. See: Guys that though that NY's Super Bowl win was the greatest game of all time until the Steelers won last year. Before that, the greatest game ever was in the '06 Playoffs, and so on.

And that's ESPN.

So if Kiffin fails next year, the shows will sound like this:

Host 1: I knew he was going to fail. I told you, all of you. He wasn't anything great in Oakland and he won't be anything great in Knoxville. Chalk this up to another one of my greatest predictions.

Host 2: Shaaaaaaaaaaaaaame.

And if he has an amazing season.

Host 1: I don't think anyone saw this coming. Was he lucky?

Host 2: Kiffin and crew are simply amazing. Who's Nick Saban?

ESPN is so stupid they couldn't even spell ESPN. I believe we all know that Lane Kiffin and his staff are not going to turn this program around overnight, but I sure as hell love the direction we are going in. With FLA returning the whole team, with the exception Percy Harvin and some of their WRs, in all honesty they should go a perfect 14-0. Lane knows that Urban not only has to beat him, but to beat him bad.

What would you guys rather see against FLA?

Eric Berry get the game clinching INT or Nuke Richardson score the game winning TD over his original commitment.

I would like to see us being down very late in the forth and Nuke make a long TD reception for a TD to put us ahead and then the very next play while Teabow is trying to orcestrate a comeback he throws a pick to EB for a TD. Now that sounds great to me.

That Kiffin brought in 5 guys for their recruiting abilities and that usually doesn't translate to good coaches.

Orgeron is a top DL coach.
Gran is a top RB coach.
The rest we can take a wait and see approach, but three is not five.

Ok, what about Chaney coached Drew Brees and Kyle Orton to the best numbers ever at Purdue. Lane Kiffin with the USC dominance, Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush, Jarrett, Lendale White probably the most talented team ever next to the 1998 Vols (slightly biased). And Monte Kiffin? Lane and Chaney are running the offense and Monte Kiffin is running the D. Do we really need to say more. Plus Orgeron was coaching Dline in the pros, I dont think that he was there for his recruiting. Also Eddie Gran has how many RB's in the NFL? Yeah alot. I rest my case.

Yeah, pretty funny how people say, "Orgeron isnt that good, he sucked at Ole Miss."
Wow, head coach = DL coach. What idiots.

My favorite is when they combine CEO and CLK's head coaching record and say they were 15-25 as a head coach (or something like that). When you start criticizing the head coaching record of a team's defensive line coach you know you're running out of things to criticize.
