I seen something on Twitter earlier and didn't get to look into it really good but is this so? I thought it said something like "Vol fans better get ready for ESPN All-Access on Signing day like never before". I guess like Ole miss got the previous year?

Probably not that much talk about us, but yes we will be a featured school on the NSD special on ESPNU.

Oh so they're just saying we'll get a mention? Ahh, I hope it's more than that. Last year they showed Ole Miss room filled with all the coaches going crazy after a commit.

Here's to hoping for the same.

When is singing day? ESPN can come do all-access while I shower on most days and they will hear me singing! That would be great TV!

Yeah they will have that type of coverage with us, but we aren't getting a million surprise commits like they did. We will get good pub and a fair amount, just not near as much as Ole Mi$$ did last year.

This whole situation is good for UT. Good pub is good pub

I expect them to treat us like they usually do when we are supposed to get some attention. They will show video of our players, but continue to talk about how awesome Bama and OSU are. Then toward the end of our section, they will say, "and theres Tennessee commit Dillon Bates. Now we take it over to Urban Meyer's class at OSU."

ESPN will air 11 hours of wall-to-wall coverage of the Feb. 5 event that will include 13 announcement from some of the top uncommitted recruits with extensive coverage at 12 schools from across the country, according to NBC Sports.

Alabama (Tom Rinaldi)
Auburn (Maria Taylor)
Florida State (Holly Rowe)
LSU (Niki Noto)
Miami (Mark Schwarz)
Notre Dame (Paul Carcaterra)
Ohio State (Quint Kessenich)
Penn State (Pedro Gomez)
Tennessee (Jeannine Edwards)
Texas (Kaylee Hartung)
Texas A&M (Cara Capuano)

A 12th school will be a part of the coverage with the possibility it will be a school from the Pac 12 as they are the only conference not represented, so perhaps the UCLA Bruins or USC Trojans could have a reporter on campus as both schools offer intriguing recruiting storylines.

This is good news for me. I plan on taking a day off from work on signing day. Go Vols!

I've already gotten my holiday scheduled and am off. I will have popcorn, chips & dip and the fridge will be stocked. I will get the boys off to school the wife to work and then it's in like donkey kong. I've took off the last 2 years and don't plan on stopping it now. It's quickly become a tradition for me. And I'm lookin even more forward to it now that we have a great class lined to sign.

I think perhaps Butch is wanting to show off the posh new facilities, to help generate some good publicity for the program....in the process. I would. Would be great if they got a signed letter from Adoree Jackson, during all of this.
