Holy Hell. What's going on at Michigan? Are they planning on signing 40 4 stars or what. Quite the start for them. They will most def be watched by the NCAA infractions committee closely with that turnaround.

There is so much that can change at this point. One visit can sway a kid in another direction. I wouldn't get too worked up over the rankings just yet...

You wanna know some facts about three stars? Dan Williams, Luke Stocker, Denarius Moore, and Jarrod Shaw were all three stars and they are all playing on sundays. so yes coaching is a huge part of the success of players.

Yep Rivals pumps up kids going to the Army game, ESPN for Under Armour, and Scout will do it now for the Semper Fi. 247 is about the only with no connection to the games.

nice to see adam lane made it i think he's gonna prove espn right and jump up alot of rankings this season

It looks like having a Big Ten championship game is helping recruiting for Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, some others. TX starts huge as always. Kiffin always in the hunt. Bamer, FL, Auburn looking strong. GA on the way. Meanwhile, Vols have no commitments YET in the top 200.

It's a worthless endeavor to worry or formulate legit criticisms of recruiting in June. Let the season play out and then see where we stand with the highly recruited guys. It's mostly witchcraft anyway, even in february. Nobody really knows even then.

You do realize that a 4.4 is very fast, right? And the only wr I see that we landed is 6'2 and has offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Nebraska, and Ole Miss.

I'll take any 6'2 wr with a 4.4 forty who Alabama, Arkansas, and Nebraska all want.

You really cant say that espn hates Tennessee when it comes to recruits, they are graded on their performance, not that they committed to Tennessee, give ESPN a break on this one

I get a kick out of these top lists. Get the players you want after evaluating them and don't worry about stars.

Heck, just noticing 2 of LSU's commits on that ESPN list are 3 stars on rivals (actually Lawon got bumped), chuck baker is listed as the 88th best WR on rivals and espn he is ranked #175 overall.:banghead2:

The staff has to evaluate these guys, many 3 stars that become 4 stars.
