Sometimes I think our fanbase is made up of estrogen pill poppers.

Tennessee fans make up the majority here in Memphis and also in Nashville. To question which fanbase that makes up the majority in Chattanooga is laughable.

Don't go wetting your britches every time you see some redneck bammer dressed head to toe in crimson at your favorite fast food establishment.

I can't make it through 15 minutes of his show. He grates my nerves like no other radio personality. He doesn't have to be a homer either, just be interesting.

I think he spent an hour or two complaining about TO buying 100k ear rings. He's got the money so who cares? Is this really the best you can do?

IMHO this is a marketing strategy. His main competition is the decidedly Pro-Tennessee Sport Talk show. Therefore Nick has chosen to try and attract everybody else in the Chattanooga area. He probably figures that he can't "out-UT" them, so he'll play the UT Hater card. I heard him last week raggin' on CDD because he didn't talk to Nick when the BO Caravan was in town. Called him a "Chicken".

That was the last time I listened to His show. If he wants to play footsie with the Bammers and Bulldogs, so be it, but he won't get any more of my time.

GBO ! Nick Bonsanto can pound sand.

I heard him calling Dooley Chicken the other day and wasnt sure why cause I dont listen to him anymore....I just figured Dooley knows he is a flipping loser and why talk to him

Its just a matter of time before his show gets cancelled. Besides cutting the SVP show off at 3:00...Quake and Dr. B(102.3) put this joker to shame

Has anybody listened to this loser Nick Monsanto(may be mispelled)?? If you are in the Chatt area call the station and tell them to get someone worth a crap...All he does is blast UT and its a freaking station in Chattanooga, TENNESSEE...

Monsanto was on the JOX sports station in Birmingham a few weeks ago. He was on as a UT expert, but he kept getting the names of the players wrong. Said Chris Walker was out for the year, which made me nervous until I realized that he was talking about Martin or Hughes. It was pretty sad.

One positive is that they played Rocky Top as they went to a commercial break. I don't know if that's ever happened in AL before.

Never heard of the guy but from all the passionate views of him on this thread he must be doing something right.Worst thing you can say about a radio personality is "Meh, he is ok".

The sports talk idiots and Alabama/UGA fans are the only things I dislike about Chatt. I love it here, but I miss going out to the grocery store or anywhere else in Maryville on any Saturday in the fall and seeing orange everywhere.

Same here Sam, love Chatt and it took me awhile to get used to the numbers of tide and dawg fans. Borders are just too damn close, especially to godforsaken alabama. And I never ever capitalize alabama.

Speaking of TO, does anyone on here know his recruiting story? Why UT Chatt and not UTK? He was a nobody in high school who got much better in college? etc.

He's a douche, the day sanctions hit USC he was blasting UT fans. That was the first and last time I've listened to him.

Yeah Chattanooga and their bandwagon fans. Lots of gators and bammers here. Also a lot of UGA but at least they have a legit reason, we're right on the border.

We are actually on the border of GA and Bama. but yeah about half the people here are from Georgia legitimately. But here is the real deal. jus because someone does not like UT does not make them an idiot. they are free to think what they may and we are free to think what we may about them. If you don't like what they are saying not only should you not listen to them you should refrain from giving them power by paying any attention to them. Trust me if it were not for bad advertisement half the morons out there with radio shows wouldn't have them.

He thinks everything he does is the funniest thing on earth....He moved down here and claimed UGA his team(when they were good) and can't name hardly any players for them either. All he wants to rant and rave about is the eagles and the phillies (his teams)...All I'm saying is they need to get someone with SEC roots who knows football and sports from the south where we live.

If hypothetically the Vols went 12-0 this season and won the national title this guy would be on the bandwagon so fast you'd think they were givin away free money. All bandwagonners arent just fans, these pundits in the sports commentary world follow the crowd as much as anyone.

I listened to his show for few weeks when it first started. I remember his very first topic was "Who would prevail in a steel-cage death match among SEC football coaches?" Riveting.

Unfortunately, calling in to complain probably won't do a lot of good. As I understand it, Nick is the program director for the station. So, do you honestly think someone with his ego is going to cut or cancel his own show? You're going to have to find someone in a higher position to affect any change.

On another note, my favorite local sports talk radio show in Chattanooga is The Show with Chris Goforth on WDOD AM1310 weekdays from 1-3 PM. I know it's hard to pickup the station very far from town, but they do stream online if you're in a position to listen that way. Google "Fox Sports Radio Chattanooga" to find their site. And no, I don't have any affiliation with that station or anyone on the show.

Randy Smith runs circles around him. He won't end up with half the career the former Vol Network host has had.

Middle Tenn has Bama cockroaches all over the place. Knoxville has more Gator/Red Sox fans than any city in the southeast. Memphis... who the hell knows what they follow.

Living in Memphis as I do, I can tell you that there are a ton of Bama and Ole Piss fans. In my neighborhood alone there are Bama, Ole Piss, Piggy, Bullys, Duke, Candy, Meechigan, Butteyes the list goes on. But at the same time on my street there are 15 UT fans. Tiger High fans come out at basketball season.
