I pray your entire family is comforted and covered by God’s grace during this time of loss. Great to know his eternal destiny was sealed by the choices he made on this earth. God Bless.

We were exceptionally close friends during our days at UT with both of us living in the stadium. He was one of UT's great punters of all time as I recall leading the nation his senior year. We attended many of the Spring games together. When he graduated Johnny Majors succeeded him at tail back. When both of us were in military service, he came down from Korea to Tokyo and we spent several days together. Marvin West, former Sports Editor of the New Sentinel, wrote a short article on him in his book about the Kentucky people throwing ice balls at him when backed up in the south end to receive a punt.
