I think Sanchez will be a great player. Give him time he's only a rookie. He did some good things against probably the best defense in the NFL in his first game.

...since Gruden was good at finding "star" QB's at Tampa Bay.

I never said he was. However, I would take the word of a guy who coached in the NFL and has seen NFL qb's in person over some guy named "biggbone" on a college message board.

i know he is a rookie espn talks up like he is the next great qb usc i just don't see it sorry

What part of his game do you not like?

Or is this just one of those he just doesn't have "it" comments?

The kid throws a GREAT deep ball, has great vision, has a great arm, is mobile and plays smart. What's not to like?

Don't get me wrong, I love JG and that face he makes, he's doing great as a broadcaster and brings a lot of energy to it. He's got a lot of insight and I'm glad he's in the booth... but I think he's in with the rest of ESPN who are putting wayyyy too much stock in this kid just cause he's from USC and got drafted to NY and got put in GQ for no reason. He looked horrible at the start of that game, and he even admitted his touchdown pass was his first read, not too hard a play when the first read is open.

But glad to see Ainge doing well. He's never gonna start but it's always good to see UT players in NFL games.

Did you see the Jets first game? His first pass was a 64 yrd bomb on the money. I may be wrong, but the kid has all the tools to be great.

Ainge threw 2 nice TD passes that were dropped by his receivers. Also, that 2 point conversion might have worked if someone would have blocked the LB running up the middle.

Not upset, just stating my opinion.

Yes, I think Ainge could be a #2 in the league. And if you were only going by this preseason then he's pretty close to Clemons, however Ryan already said that Sanchez and Clemons are 1 and 2.

i didn't understand why the moved the RB out of the backfield. had they kept him back there, he could have picked up the blitz

It was 48. EA threw a fifty-yard TD pass that same game. A lot of the Jets fans think he should be getting a shot at the starting job.

Jets fans need to put down the crack pipe. He looks great because he's going against 3rd string defenses. He is not an NFL starter. Period.

Yep, that was a great play, against the Rams. It just seemed like he was overwhelmed by the Ravens, but hey, what QB isn't from time to time.

I regress, it is a little early to say he's not gonna turn out how everyone hopes. He just needs to shore up his decision making. We should get a good gauge a few games into the season (you know he's gonna start)

Just for the record, I hate the Jets and Trojans so i'm not pulling for him in any way. But the kid can ball.

Even that is too early to tell. The guy's only a rookie.

Look at the difference between Flacco last seaon and this pre-season. Leaps and bounds better.

Good to see Ainge doing well tonight I was a big fan of him in college and I hope one of these days he gets a chance even though there's not much of a chance for him and yes that reciever should of caught it in the endzone from Ainge.
