This is terrible timing for him, he just got his act together with the pain pills and now he'll have to take them again. I hope his docs and the people around him get through this without falling back into addiction.

He was rehabbing from coccaine and heroin too

Jets backup quarterback, on his struggles with addictions to painkillers, cocaine and heroin—all of which he says he has kicked:

"I would've made Charlie Sheen look like Miss Daisy."

Lawrence Taylor disagrees!

Hell, add a few underage prostitutes and you have yourself a HOF career!

to be fair, that was more of a "her pimp said she was 18"

(or that general guy-nightmare of the only thing in your defense being "she said she was 18")

He actually fell backwards and landed on his neck. The brunt of the fall was taken by the mullet, but the impact of the mullet being pressed against the scapula caused a soft tissue injury. End of story.

That's a shame. He's likely played his last down (or practiced his last down) in the NFL. I wish him luck and hope he stays clean.

Erik Ainge is the most durable quarterback I've ever known. There is no way this can be true. I mean, during his time here at Tennessee, he was the most mentally and physically tough athlete on the field game in and game out.

Really shocking...

JW... Isn't the VFL program for guys like this? Anyone know if the guys at UT have reached out to him? Shame for the guy, hope he stays clean. BTW this made me think about Brent Schaffer, wonder what he's up to these days?
