and yet he's 3-0 this month and 2-0 in SEC play. THe stats and your feelings don't match so 1 must be wrong. Wonder which one?

I've never seen a win-loss record listed for a LB, DT or RB.

He did nothing in those games to make you say, "Wow, he sure put the team on his back today..."

Ainge had a good 4th quarter. No denying that. If you want to give him credit for that win, go ahead. But show me another game this season where you can directly say that he was the catalyst for the victory...

When you have Arian and Montario in the backfield and the way the WR's have been making plays he doesn't have to have an outstanding performance for us to win.
He's getting the job done and were winning get off his back.

More physical? Did you see Earl Bennet's two catches? He threw up after Berry hit him. They lost 3 offensive linemen during the game. Vandy got beat physically and mentally yesterday.

Show me one game, this year, where you can directly say that he was the catalyst for the loss...

His fumble of the handoff to Foster against Florida shifted momentum back to Florida and the rout was on after that.

And if you believe Cutcliffe's statement about us being able to score 40 or 50 if they needed to, then I guess you can blame Ainge for that as well.

The Vols are what we thought they were. Th-they're what we thought they were. We played them in last season. the Vols are who we thought they were! That’s why we took the darn field! Now, *hits microphone* if you want to crown them, then crown their [edit]! But, they are who we thought they were, and we let them off the hook!

Is this the Vandy quote you guys are talking about?

Yeah, Tennessee fans need to spit on Vandy about their kick coverage.

It only took us 3/4 of the season to find Rogan wasting away on the bench...

Sad part about that is, he was our best returner in preseason. It comes down to having guts to put a freshman on the field, which we are infamous for not doing.

I wouldn't call a few games your freshman year "wasting away." Anyhow, he was returning kicks in the open scrimmage before the season, and showed flashes of being a good returner, but nothing better than our other return men. Hefney did fine last year returning punts, but just didn't have it this year, too much dancing around. I'm glad that Rogan stepped up his game and has become a special returner.

I see him on kick-coverage a lot too. He's been on the field, just not returning. I really don't think our coaches keep players on the bench because of some evil conspiracy...there's a little thing called practice that we don't see and they do. I imagine that they are in a FAR better position to judge who should be playing. Like them or not, they're still good coaches. They didn't forget how to coach, they're just not as up-to-date as they need to be.

A lot of people would seem to disagree with you. From what they see in the games 1 day a week they are a better judge of talent than the guys that have been coaching for years and see the players 7 days a week.

Armchair QB's and Sunday morning Coaches are always better

See Jonathan Hefney returning punts his freshman year, or Austin Rogers or Lucas Taylor etc........

The fans raised hell when those guys fumbled or didn't get a good return and said "Why the hell is a freshman returning punts?"

Bash coaches for not getting freshmen prominent roles on offense or defense, but there have been several freshmen returners here the past few years.
