Erik Ainge has sore pinky

he'll play. no worries here.

Offshore sport books opened this line with our Vols -5.5, after all this injury hub bub circulating the line has remained at a consistant -6. -6 is where it has been for nearly a week now.

Off shore sport books have taken nearly 4000 bets on this game, and nearly 56% of them are on the Vols.

Hmmm... that's funny. My parlay card has Cal at -6.

If Ainge wasn't playing that pointspread would have dipped to 7 by now.

just my opinion, but when looking for injury answers sometimes its best to see whats happening in the sport books.

Hmmm... I just GOOGLED "sports book" and clicked on the very first site that came up. They also have Cal giving up 6 to the Vols.

If Ainge doesn't play because of a stupid pinky finger I am going to be really disappointed. I want a chance to beat UT at full strength so we can settle this series fair and square.

settle the series?

if Cal "does" win.... the series will be tied at 2-2.

How is that settling the series? You silly Cal fans. I guess tying a team equals a win over in Berkeley.

I actually lived in Cali for three years. And sac is a dead town that no self respecting person from cali wants to end up in. I am not on the boat of living in Cali blows but unless you live on the coast and have a lot of money it does. If you have money and live on the coast it is like a paradise. People in Cali refer to the inland people like social degenerates and weirdos. People from that are claim status based on area codes. A coastal area codes are ok, non-coastal and why are you here? That means you are paying the high taxes and you get all the smog. But, no beach no girls in bikinis, basically a desert like climate. I mean it sucks. :peace2:

You just showed how truly ignorant you are, and you clearly have never lived in California. Saying everything but the beach is basically a desert? I thought you said you majored in Agriculture? Yes that’s right, you most certainly did. Well I hate to burst your bubble but this state is the #1 ag producer in the nation, has the most advanced high tech companies and facilities, has numerous military bases, and also has hosted both summer and winter Olympics. You sir, have never been to California. You sir, do not know what you are talking about!

Also, the whole thing about people from the coast looking down on people who live “inland,” that too is wholly moronic and demonstrates your utter lack of knowledge regarding the most powerful state in the Union. From a purely political standpoint our congressional delegation outnumbers yours by almost 50 members!

To the other fellow who said the smoky mountains outdraw all of our national parks, I got one name for you, Yosemite. No need to even go into all our other pristine national parks which routinely put Smokey to shame.

Others have questioned our patriotism at times and alluded to the fact that the great state of Tennessee has a better military track record. This is complete BS. Since the Vietnam war no state has lost and contributed more brave soldiers in defense of their country, it’s not even close when compared to Tennessee. I could go on forever… I realize this post is not very succinct and some may find it offensive, but I was almost too upset to answer these outrageously false lies! I really hate to stoop to that guys level, but I saw no alternative.

You really need to PRAY you win Vols, because if you don’t… We will OWN you forever!

Own us forever? That's retarded. Will you please finally leave us alone? You bring absolutely nothing to the board, and I'm asking you nicely to get the F out.

I have lived in LA (Simi Valley) and they most certainly do. And may I ask, what does that have to do with your state's "power" and your representation in the House?

Seth.

California is the only state in the country where you can surf in the morning, snowboard all day, and be back in time to watch the sunset over the ocean. The weather is second to none. Whatever you want out of life, you can find in Cali. It is one of the most diverse places on earth. Once the myth of SEC superiority has been exposed this season, 5-star recruits are going to want to spend their college years in the greatest state in the land, the GOLDEN STATE.

So our victory over you last season didn't expose the Pac 10, but a victory over us is exposing the SEC myth? That doesn't make sense.

If Cal wins by less than 17, Tennessee won the head to head.

Returning to the subject of Saturday's game, I really do hope that there are no more injuries on either side. Depth is really one of Cal's biggest weaknesses, and our season depends on everyone staying healthy.

Ted I can fax you a copy of my law degree if you like? It will prove I lived in Cali for three years. And Ted if you talked to people you would know what they thought about inlanders like you. And it is Volunteer relative to population, obviously Cali has lots more people that is a duh. And your agriculture is based on a drip system as successful as it is that system is used to turn green desert climates like Israel. I personally was talking about living where people live though not in the farm areas. But, hey get out Ted you may find that Sac is not the place to be nor is Berkeley. I loved Newport Beach were I lived but I dunno not a millionaire so could not stay. You may want to sharpen those social skills before you make that plunge.

Major in Agriculture? Dude Just Say NO

Last year was a great example. Our starting CB blew his knee out 3 weeks before the game, and our starting TE got knocked out on the kickoff. Our run game and pass defense suffered big time, and we were unable to recover. That's what separates the BCS teams from the rest: depth. Hopefully, Cal can finally have its breakthrough season this year and start cracking the top 10 in recruiting classes consistently. It is a credit to Tedford that Cal is even given a chance in this game, considering Fulmer has the best recruits from across the country on a yearly basis.

I just want to see Berry make an INT and Hardesty running well. These things will make me happy. I am a simple man

I would lower your expectations for Berry. As gifted as he is, he is still a freshman going against one of the best set of WR's in the country.

Remember, Berry is as fast as Jackson, and bigger than all 3 of your WRs. Phil Fulmer, National Championship coach who had Peyton manning as a freshman, said Eric Berry is the most ready freshman he's ever seen.

I know you haven't been following us very long, but 100% of VNers would agree that it's abnormal for him to say that.

I think CBs get there INTs from QBs, hmmm will the WRs be passing in some kind of trick play. Longshore is not big game stuff. Berry will be there when he makes his mistakes. WR is the least important position on offense. IMO

I consider UT the Gators biggest SEC east rival. That being said, I hope Ainge is ready to go on Saturday and you guys beat Cal. I live in Pac 10 country and won't ever hear the end of it if Cal wins this game. Besides, I want you guys undefeated on 9/15. :)
