Here's something I learned from Dallas Cowboy fans..

When was the last time Cal won a championship in anything besides water polo and Synchronized swimming?

Correct. At the end of the day, it's about winning championships. Not pointing to a poll that has you ranked ahead of a team that completely demolished you. That's something a UC Berkeley fan could never comprehend.

First off, if I only travelled throughout all of CA that would make me more metropolitan than you. Our state is amazing and extremely diverse.

I've been to more countries in the past year than you'll visit in your whole life. I travel world wide for business...what do you do? Sell taters on the side of the road?

I'll be a doctor in a couple of years. I've been to continents five continents. In doing so, I've seen London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, New York, Moscow, etc. I know metropolitan.

Well..... I certainly have been to Berkeley. In fact I was there in June with my fiancee.... Who I proposed to in John Muir Woods thank you very much.

My point is this.... there is much more going on in Knoxville and this state than UT football. Not everyone in Knoxville is a UT fan, much like, clearly, not everyone in Berkeley is a Cal fan.

To say that the only thing we care about in TN is UT football is as ridiculous as me saying the only thing you care about in CA is electing worthless, sub par acting morons as governors, and giving "rights" to huge sections of people who are not even US citizens.

Don't generalize.

My Vols are going to play their hearts out Saturday, as I am sure your Bears will too. May the best Orange and White team win.

Oh and for the record, California is to football as the Bush administration is to International policy.

Neither of them add up.

I actually lived in Cali for three years. And sac is a dead town that no self respecting person from cali wants to end up in. I am not on the boat of living in Cali blows but unless you live on the coast and have a lot of money it does. If you have money and live on the coast it is like a paradise. People in Cali refer to the inland people like social degenerates and weirdos. People from that are claim status based on area codes. A coastal area codes are ok, non-coastal and why are you here? That means you are paying the high taxes and you get all the smog. But, no beach no girls in bikinis, basically a desert like climate. I mean it sucks. :peace2:

To say that we will have nothing else going until next football season is just dumb. Obviously you have never heard of Bruce Pearl or the sport of basketball.

Berkely population: 102,743
