My brother was in the top 10% of his class - and knowing it was one of the top public universities around he sent in my resume and transcript and was accepted...

Although he chose UT obviously and got a full ride - he just did that for show.

Cal is actually VERY DIFFICULT to get into. Please see the selection under 2008 admission. the key is "most selective"

academically it is a great school, better than UT. There is nor argument there. For now, the AP poll and Coaches poll say Cal is the better football team. We'll know after Saturday.

The great part about all of this is how much their football means to them. Apparently it is not up on the list.

Cal is a better school.

Our football team does not have years of success behind us, but I think we'll all settle for being the better football team this year and future years. (I really don't care what Cal Football did before I was old enough to care)

TN packs their stadium more than we do....because Knoxville has nothing else going on. We live in a State that people from all over the world dream of living in. I don't feel bad about having more going on in our lives than moonshine and football. Your fans are more invested in your team than ours are because you have nothing else...you're proud of that?

When we win on Saturday, I'm going to feel bad for a whole city of people who have nothing left going on in their lives until next years football season.

Start brewin the sour mash, hard times ar a'comin. Sorry.
