That sounds good.....I forgot......Georgia is good vs the run so Tennessee shouldn’t try. Hey.......simply let their freshman QB (making his first start) do it, that makes much more sense.

Tennessee had 2 Running backs with over 5 yards per carry each. One had over 6 yards per at halftime........but hey lets pass way more than run, because Georgia is good.

Those RB’s had 9 carries and 7 respectively......with over 5 yards per, i’d say they needed more carries.

Eric Gray was not great in his touches today. The problem was Chandler and Jordan were pretty good, as both averaged over 5 ypc. We probably should have run with them a little bit more.

I don't think it's running that is a problem as much as our tackling. With no tackling you play catch up. But wait, the size and speed of Georgia was so apparent. And depth of players for both sides, my goodness. Georgia has it and we do not. There is no blame here. Only time and recruiting will help that problem. (You do have to coach them if we get any. Some will question this item.)

We are much better in the first quarter when everyone is fresh. "Really you say". Maybe it will be better in 2020 and 2021. Ok, bring in a new staff and see if they can pull enough players in to build depth in 1 or 2 years. I doubt it. Hopefully the coaching staff can learn by doing. Maybe so, maybe not, the opinions will vary here as well.

And with the portal and the fine quality of players who have been dismissed or should be dismissed, and I wanted depth. WoW............

Yes so by all means the coaches need to solely rely on a QB making his first start.

Two Tennessee RBs finished with over 5 yards per.......all while in the 3rd quarter the QB had zero yards.......(because of 1 zero yard competition) Tennessee needed more rushing attempts.

If you got a QB making his first start, it might me in your best interest to run the ball to help him out.

At halftime Tennessee had a 3 to 1 ratio of pass to run........and one of the RB’s was over 6 yards per carry........and two finished with over 5 per carry each.

I don't think so. However, if you cant run the ball you can pass it and to be able to pass it, uou have to have pass blocking by the running back. Ga had the biggest and best Dline I have seen in a few years, and we had no chance to score without throwing the ball.. Two TDs, both by passing

Until we have an S.E.C. caliber o-line and d-line, the ability of the skill players on both sides of the ball will be hamstrung. You're putting the cart before the horse talking about schemes and play calling..etc. Football isn't that complicated. If we had UGA's o-line how much better would our offense look ?

You can't run more when you can't Run block. We get whooped up front on run plays and then the Rbs are getting 1st contact 2 or 3 yds in the backfield.
