Look man not sure where you get you eye from but the Dobbs stuff is getting old. Dobbs is no where near Allen not a s a rookie nor right now. Dobbs was inactive behind Gardner Minshew who's now the starter and Dobbs was released even after Foles was traded. He couldn't beat out Minster, Mike Glennon, and some unknown guy Jake Luton. So just stop please. I won a bet with Jalen Ramsey after his Josh Allen is trash comment and won. I say the kid in college and he had the tools. I have clients who put me up on lesser known talent who are scouts/coaches in the NFL. I am happy for my man Josh Dobbs because he is still getting free money from the NFL but absolutely NOT in agreement on his being Josh Allen. He is more elusive than Allen but nowhere near the over all qb.
Josh Allen is the one guy in the NFL arguably more talented than Dobbs so I'll give you that. But Dobbs will be special once he gets his chance. He's yet to be given a genuine chance. And as a black man (I'm assuming you are black) you should know black QBs don't just get handed opportunities in the NFL especially as late round picks. They need all the dominos to fall their way just to have a chance. The dominos have thus far lined up against Dobbs.
Just look at last year. Foles gets hurt so the Jags trade for him with only a 6th round rookie ahead of him. You would think that was gonna be his job. But alas that 6th round rookie QB who only got his shot to start in the NFL because of injury enjoys a magical year so he keeps the job. The Steelers conversely have Big Ben go down for the season and Mason Rudolph look like trash. Devlin Hodges (an undrafted rookie free agent) starts more games last year than Dobbs has his entire career. If Foles doesn't get hurt we never hear of Minshew and Dobbs potentially gets his shot with the Steelers last year with Big Ben out. Who knows how that turns out.
I don't mind that none of yall still believe in Dobbs. Just don't pretend when he blows up that it was an obvious call like so many are doing now with my pick that Josh Allen would be the best QB from the 2018 draft over the long term.
