Eric Gray just muffed a punt for OU

Well except based off circumstances Eric Gray was one of the former Vols who took the bags of McDonald's Cash. đź’° so if he took money and left and we are awaiting NCAA repurcussions and he gets to move forward. Yes I am happy to see him not go to the college Football playoff in the meantime.
I don't think there's any evidence showing that Gray took money. I think the violations were from him and other players giving the cash to future recruits (when they hosted them on campus). There were many players hosting including a few still playing for the Vols. We may know more later when the NCAA wraps up. But that may be years.

Can we stop hating on every kid who transfers out like they urinated on the T at midfield before leaving? It makes our fans look ridiculous to turn around and embrace kids who transfer in like they suddenly had a epiphany about how “special” Tennessee is. It’s all about opportunity for these players, coming in and going out and no one should be throwing shade at them for their decisions. Good grief

Keep in mind, innocent people usually don’t break the rules. Follow the money!

This is called fandom. What a few people post on a message board won’t make us look any certain way. It’s expected for there to be some bad blood when these kids hit the road faster than a kardasian marriage. Truthfully…it makes my heart happy to see them not succeed elsewhere.

So Oklahoma wins tonight without Eric Gray muffing a punt inside the 5!
This is just food for thought for all the Oklahoma fans who are sick at their stomach
Maybe. If you watched, you know that Oklahoma had possessions after that, and they were only down one score.

Then you need to grow up and gain some perspective

I’m ok with that but I hate Henry T. And there’s nothing else for it

I don’t hate on these transfers, but I sure don’t celebrate them and call them VFLs. To me they are just huge disappointments. They came here, the team and the fans invested in them and then they just quit and walked away. Maybe there is a good reason, and for the most part I hope they find success but still the word that comes to mind is disappointment.

Another thread asks your favorite Vandy memory. For me it was watching us beat the crap out of Vandy in the rain with my son. Gray ran for 300 yds and HenryT tackled everyone in sight. Then they just walked away...disappointment,

There was one full length scoring driving in the second half of that game, and it was for the Cowboys. OU got their points on a different muffed punt and a safety. OSU’s winning points came on the 1st and goal opportunity Gray handed to them. It was really the deciding factor.

He transferred because he was involved in the Pruitt scandal. Wasn't his decision.

Eric Grey cost them that game tonight. I saw it. By muffing that punt, he cost them a shot at the Big 12 title game and a playoff spot. He also hurt Lincoln Riley's chances of getting hired at LSU or Florida, therefore helping us, by not causing a OK Heupel backfill. Thank you Eric Grey, you are a VFL!

The only reason he came here is because he got the bag, let's not get it confused.

No we can’t. This is a forum for fans. What did you expect?

That might be a stretch. Losing that game will not cost Riley the opportunity if he wants it.
Jimbo lost to LSU last night. You think LSU would not hire him now if he wanted the job?

That would be strangely similar to when Dickey left us after loosing to FL. He would be returning to LSU, just not as alum.

Be fun to watch. Can’t leverage a win to go with being pursued cash, but might avoid some hate due to fear of his opportunity.

I guess you did not watch? Anyone with eyes could see that was what decided the game.
