Well he sure made key plays in the win and had a field day when we beat Candy.

He definitely knows how to feel his way better than Ty Chandler. Chandler just runs straight ahead; he doesn't see the field nearly as well as Gray.
Chandler is a pretty darn good back. Hits the hole hard and delivers punishment. Gray is shiftier, but he misses open holes at times too.

Been a Chandler fan since I watched him hurdle a kid on my son’s middle school football team and continue for a TD. Have felt all season Chandler was the #1 back and Gray was the future. I’m on board the Gray is the man train now. Thought Candy was just Candy but he backed it up tonight. Chandler is still valuable to this offense but Gray is the clear #1 going into spring in this non-coach’s worthless opinion.

Give Gray a full off-season in the weight room and he will be seriously dangerous next year. All three of our backs have contributed this year and we'll have an even better backfield next year with the addition of the bigger backs we signed. Gray really finished strong this year.

Gray appears to be a more dangerous runner than Chandler as he can plant and change direction on a dime, but I like both of them. We still need a bigger power back so hopefully one of the two freshman fill that role. It would be nice to get back to being a power running team that can maul opponents and go back to an old school play action passing game.
