Eric Gordon Is A Dadgummed Gamer!

I just wanted to put this out there...I know Gordon must be feeling like crapola for what happened to Lattimore. And anyone with half a brain can see that his hit was clean. It was just bad timing for Lattimore's knee on that play. But I just wanted to say, I think the guy is a mega-plus for this team.

He is without a doubt a gamer, and I like the guy more and more everytime I see him play. He gets every last drop of production out of himself, every game.

Consider that he doesnt have quite the physical tools as most of the other folks on the field (size, speed). But what he lacks in size and speed, he makes up with grit, determination, brains, and above all, heart.

Anyway, I like the guy, and thought he deserved his own thread, so he could come on here and see that a lot of fans think highly of him.

Eric, you rock.

Keep your head up and see what you hit. Putting your head down like that while making tackles has the potential to hurt ones neck. Severely. Or someone else. Severely.

Eric Gordon is the man, he's always flying to the football and making plays. Things happen when you play the game hold your head up. VOL NATION loves ya man.

He's good in run support, but he blew coverages left and right, and Ace Sanders was abusing him in the slot.

Eric Gordon is a gamer. He is not a nickle/star db. He is a boundary corner who is suited for zone coverage.He is not bad at man, just not excellent. He is getting killed in the slot. Lately they have blitzed him a ton and he just has not gotten there. he will likely get some picks and make some big plays down the stretch and make us wonder why he is not the starting corner, with Waggner at Safety

He is awful at man, not just bad.

Are you really as stupid as your posts would lead one to believe? Or are you just intentionally spewing stupidity to troll these boards? Gordon, just like the rest of our swiss cheese secondary, is far from a gamer and many of the blown coverages this year can be attributed to him.

Volnation could do without smarta** comments such as the one that I quoted. The guy was stating his opinion of Gordon's play. It's a Vol football forum and completely a legitimate topic to start thread about after Lattimore's injury.

Gordon and the rest of the secondary is WAC level in talent. They represent the worse defense in the SEC and practically the entire country. All their covering skills, Gordon included, is embarrassing. So yeah, that's what I think of Eric Gordon and the rest of the god awful defense.

I like the way Eric Gordon plays, a real hard nosed dude! When your going hard and making the plays and giving your all for the team and fans, $#!t happens! What i can't understand is why all the threads about Teague and Waggner, yet none about how B. Moore has played in and gotten his arse consistently burnt in every game so far this year!? Suppwitdat?

Definitely a gamer, and makes a lot of really nice plays. That being said, he's terrible in man defense and is very inconsistent.
