I just watched about 30 minutes of highlights on youtube of Eric Berry. Is it alright to use your 1 mancrush on a rival player?

I know I'm not telling you guys anything new but this guy is one of those players that makes you glad to say you watched him induring college. It feels like you're watching someone that your children will ask you about 15-20 years from now.

He is a beast player. I may hate rivals like UF, Bama, etc. but I am not ignorant enough to deny a good player when I see one. You guys have Julio who is amazing, along with guys like Tebow who are just good college football players.

When a player makes fans overlook their rivalries for a minute, then you know they're good. I agree, Julio and Tebow are like that for me too.

I just watched the hit that announced to the country that Knowshaun Marino is a Heisman caliber football player as long as he's playing against division AA schools. The sound of the hit is pure power.

can we all just take a step back from this thread and realize that it was started by the most rational and realistic bama fan ever to grace this board...congrats birmingham you have proven to me that not all alabama fans are xenophobes that have no respect for anyone not wearing crimson

Yeah, I hate Florida as much as any other Vol fan, but Tebow is the best college football player I've seen. That being said, I hope EB knocks his block off this year.

You're a bama fan. Doubt you could do anything that would surprise us.:)

Nice of you to put your pic in your avatar. :good!:

The fact that you could properly execute that sentence and spell every word correctly already tells me you're near the top of the heap.

In all seriousness, though, Berry is very special. I agree that Julio could end up being one of those players, too.

EB is amazing to watch. He has a natural instinct for playing the game of football. His ability to read the quarterback and make the plays that he does is second to none. I would say he is the most talented athlete to play safety at UT. That is saying alot too considering we have had studs to anchor our defense in recent years. Stay healthy EB. :superman:

Awesome post...I love it.

But really, EB is a player who plays at a level that transcends rivalries. I agree that Tebow has been that for me . Julio may be that yet, but I'm not ready to put him with Tebow.

Kind of like watching Tim Tebow?
