there was an article on scout about him.. I cant read it because i dont have the full prescription.. the headline says that Fulmer wouldnt mind starting him at Cal.. If he's the best suited for the job.. thats some great news to me.. Fulmer is obviously loving Berry already and feels that he has already stepped up to be an SEC db..

He's been a starter since day 1 he arrived at UT, IMO.

Yep... as of today he would start. I can't imagine that changing between now and then. He is going to be something pretty special.

He's a blend of J. Wade's speed (but Berry is faster), Jason Allen's nose for the ball, and he's gonna end up being a tougher hitter than Hefney has been.

So he is going to be both of the All-SEC corners and one of the All-SEC safeties?

He's freaking Bug Bunny.....

Slade says we have 3 starters. Sounds like a cop out to start Gaines and Johnson against Cal. I hope Johnson is on Jackson because Gaines will get toasted.

Its my opinion and was not a fact. Please don't trample on my stairway to heaven please...:p.

Please don't crown him a great player until he does something special. That is all I ask. A freshman playing against a future 1st round pick in DeSean Jackson does not bode well for our defense if he starts right away.

Not crowning anyone, once again its an opinion and nothing more.

I hope he lives up to everyone's expectations.

He will have a good-great freshman season compared to the rest of the freshmen classes coming into D-1. Next year though he will shine and become the #1 corner for the next two years until he declares for the draft unfortunately.
