Eric Berry vs. Earl Thomas

According to this, Earl Thomas is ranked . 1 higher than Eric Berry. Before I get blasted for such a small difference, I just want to ask, is he really that awesome? I mean Eric Berry showed he was incredibly well rounded and could play anywhere and, admittedly, I don't know much about Earl Thomas. I just want to hear VN's thoughts on this.

Mike Mayock is the probably the only person who says that, and I think that the NFL uses him for their rankings. He was saying that Earl Thomas is more versatile and has better football instincts. I wonder if he has every watched Eric Berry play. Earl Thomas should be the #2 safety, but Eric Berry is definitely better.
