Here is my email to ESPN


The fact that Eric Berry did not win the Thorpe Award, and the fact that you even ALLOWED anyone else winning it to be shown on television, is the most pathetic thing ESPN has ever done.

I would send you a link to their stats, BUT YOU ARE ESPN!?! look around your website. it won't take long to realize who should have one. I don't care if who reads this had a part in Jenkins winning the award or not, that is an absolute joke.

Funny how Peyton Manning LOSES his deserving heisman trophy to a defensive back, and then a BETTER ONE comes along, but he's a Tennessee Vol, so he isn't qualified.

You'll hear from me again next year when he breaks Buckley's career int. return yardage record. ((He's 11 yards away right now as a sophomore, by the way))

This is an absolute joke, and you should be embarassed to have Jenkins accepting the award appear on ESPN.

I want whoever reads this to smack yourself in the face, and then smack the nearest ten people in the face, and tell them to do the same. Should get the job done, eventually everyone who voted so horribly will be smacked in the face, right?. Happy Holidays. :)

Eric Berry - 72 tackles, 7 ints for 265 yds, and 2 tds, 8.5 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks

haha this is so funny ESPN all they do is air the show....sports writers FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY vote and that determines the winner.....ESPN doesn't have sportswriters they have anaylst(sp)

So its Buckley who owns the record Berry is chasing? Wonder how much he had to do with this award? Maybe he had pull in it and didnt want to hand it off to the guy that is going to smash his record

This is a complete disgrace. These sports writers should be ashamed. Bunch of losers! There is no way they can justify this decision. I know they have a lovefest for the big-10 but this is ridiculous! Reminds me a lot of 1997.
