Eric Berry sounding off on somebody?

Except Eric Berry does talk like this on his Twitter occasionally, so I'm confused what the fuss is about.

Simply put, it's hard to take someone serious when they express themselves in that manner. If he has concerns, great, but intelligent people are going to overlook you when you act like a child.

learn the difference between then and than. Go back and read your smarta$$ response to me. I really don't care how red your neck is just write in english that doesn't kill the king. (that is king's english for you)

I completely agree. I feel the exact same way about people 'dat typ liek dis,' but others were saying that it was not Eric Berry, because it wasn't typed out in proper English.

This hurts. No matter which way you want to spin it. This guy was so big to the University and now he resorts to bashing them on twitter? It sucks to think that EB would stoop to that level.

We'll never get the program out of the gutter with former elite players bashing our coaching staff.

We already discussed this. That quote doesn't specifically eliminate Tennessee.

These do IMO

These two come between the post where he is venting and the last quote.

One the way to the army AA game...3 stripes intact.

Drae's gonna b good for the vols...

FYI I'm not speaking on one particular school. I got family all across the country at diff schools.D1..D2..D3but if the shoe fits wear it

Eric Berry and other past football players at UT have the right vent their feelings just like anyone else, for or against. In fact, they have a greater right than most poster on here. They have invested blood, sweat, and tears and obviously care about the program or they would not speak out. I, personally, put more value on their comments and critiques than most posters or bloggers on here. The truth is sometimes difficult to face; and this program, Dooley included, are going through difficult times. I would like to see more leadership at UT right now. But I for one will not blast EB or other players who are closer to the program than I for comments that they make.

How do they have "more" right to anything? Getting on twitter and airing dirty laundry is trashy regardless who does it.

You have more "right " than, EB? Give me the basis for your claim if you do and we'll follow you on twitter.

Agree. It's almost as bad as 2 girls on fb fighting about some guy. No one cares that shakwandas baby daddy is cheating on her with shamiqua its between certain people not the whole world.

No one has "more right". I just don't worship at the altar of celebrity by making excuses for their trashy behavior.

ohhh they have the right but its pretty damn stupid to take it public. Do you not think other coaches will use this against UT in recruiting.

I seriously doubt anything said is referencing UT/DD. It could be anybody that he played ball with in the past or a friend he has made through his career. Could be anybody! Some of my closest guy friends call each other brother. Does not have to mean his younger brother. Just saying!

I don't think that anyone thinks he's talking about fam.

There's "rights", and then there's responsibilities. One comes with the other.

A team should be family, including those who've graduated and moved on. If you have issues, take it up with the fam and keep it there.

I don't want my family's dirty laundry aired out all over the twittersphere, and the same should go for the Vols (and the Giants, and the 49ers, and the Colts, and the Saints, and every other team out there.)

Somebody explain the camp thing. How do you get a check for going to camp? Was that maybe a JJ reference when he sat out the spring?

NFL players get checks for going to NFL camps. I'm pretty sure this whole thing has nothing to do with UT.
