Don't feel like an idiot. Learn from your mistakes.

Seriously, a song about Eric Berry could be freaking awesome and make the rounds and these message boards could be good publicity. But it has too be extremely well written and at least decently recorded and mixed. Keep trying man, it's something you learn through trial and error. :good!:

yeah thanks

what kind of music do you create

I played drums and used to be a mercenary band member when I lived in Tennessee. I started doing the computer stuff when I went to college because I couldn't take drums.

We'd have these big parties so I'd always create beats when the basketball team came over and got blown out of their minds and they would start flowing.

I regret never recording it, but I still have the beats (around 80 or so) and a bunch of recordings of me with different musicians so I have a nice little portfolio of original material. All in Tennessee in my parents basement. Safe and sound.

Anyway to answer your question: It ranged from rap to stuff that sounded like Massive Attack, to stuff that sounded like the Postal Service (UPS commercial)

Everyone sucked when they began. Just try to become better everyday and one day something will lock and it'll be good. No need to feel like a dumbass. Just know when you put it out for the public there will be assholes likes us breaking it down.

So bring your A game.

it may not sound good cause we dont have the fancy equipment but the lyrics are good

As a musician, I'm going to inform you that "fancy equipment" is no longer a necessity.

This(NSFW/not for the easily offended) was done on a desktop computer running a copy of Sonar, the only "expensive" piece of equipment was a condenser mic.

And to be fair, neither item is a necessity as there is plenty of decent free digital workstations, and the condenser was only used because it was convenient.
