Seriously, even if the lyrics were witty and smooth no one would know because the recording was horrible. Whoever was rapping did so in monotone.
It was bad. Real bad. Save up some money and get some gear. Downloading an instrumental off the internet, rapping over it on some internet downloaded music editing program isn't getting it done.
Spend some money on Cool Edit and invest in the newest version of Reason. Buy a mixer and some studio quality mics. Learn all that stuff for about 5-6 year, then you might be able to do something worth listening to.
Music isn't something that happens overnight. It's a craft that you work out everyday. The quality of the rhymes and lyrics are just as important as the quality of the sample, beat, overall soundforce besides the vocals.
It might sound better if you weren't monotone. From what I listened to that's all it was...monotone rap by a white kid. You're no Eminem.(in his prime)
Seeing as I'm from Alabama, I have a high tolerance for terrible quality anything, so I actually listened to the whole song. If you can fix the quality then it would be completely average.
