Congratulations, Eric!

As I've noted here before, Eric is the type of player-leader that we've been missing.

CPF's style needs players who are leaders--and when those elements have come together in the past (PM and Al Wilson era), the Vols do great things.

Berry... is the type of player-leader who can take our program back to elite status!

The players you mention are elite on any level. It's rare to find one so we need to appreciate it when he's here.

Congrats EB and here's to 3 more great years!

Berry is very impressive. I also like the jones kid alot. Loved the g-gun deal. That kid has some moves. Berry maybe the best overall talent i have seen in awhile the sky's the limit for this kid.

How can the SEC freshman defensive player of the year not be a unanimous selection to the All SEC freshman team and some other freshman linebacker from Alabama or somewhere else was a unanimous selection? This is just ridiculous and he should have been 1st team defense all SEC. His numbers were as good as anyones. The only reason Craig whats his name from LSU made 1st team is because he had 3 or 4 of his 6 interceptions against Miss St. the first game of the year when their incapable QB at the time felt the need to throw every pass to an LSU player.

The LSU guy would be Craig Steltz and he is a good football player, but not in the same league as Berry. The fact that Hefney made the team should tell you plenty about the coaches and how they make decisions. It's often about the names they know, and not the play they watched.

Berry not being unanimous was probably because one of the other coaches has a freshman safety that he believes played better (Meyer probably fits that bill with his DBs)

Awesome!! The kid is gonna be great.

This young man is already great, he just needs a little seasoning, then he will be one we want to give a special name to, such as Reggie White. He has the potential to be one of the all time great VOLS (at least in my history of being a fan, over 47 years). GO VOLS:rock:

EB is so fast, too! I can remember a couple of times I saw him come out of nowhere and take a man out, looking like nothing but an orange streak.

I could watch his pick six off Tebow all day long too, the man can FLY with the football in his hands.
