Eric Berry Says He Should Be No. 1

I did leave myself a little wiggle room but I was pretty sure Rolle was predicted to be a 2nd rounder even without the year off. And to say Rolle and Mays? Maybe Thomas or even Haden but not those other 2

Mays just isn't that good, period. One can make an argument for Thomas, albeit weak, and the argument for Haden died today.

Berry is a combo of size, speed, tackling and instinct that doesn't come along very often. I don't give out much praise, but Berry warrants it.

I watched every game and I only recall one. It was in the first or second game.

When were these "plenty of times"?

I watched every game except 2, but there was more than 1 time. I guess I exaggerated by saying "plenty", and I'm sorry I can't provide specific examples from games, but I do remember him missing some. He's a great player, one of the best in the draft this year, and he seems to be a good kid, too. But I don't expect him to be able to be perfect and not make any mistakes, he is in fact human after all.

I'm not knocking on Berry at all, all I am saying is that even in Monte's scheme, he had opportunities to make plays. And he made a ton of them. Monte didn't think up, "Hmm... I wonder if there is a way I can keep this guy from getting that record." I think that playing in the role he did helped his draft status. It shows basically that he can be successful playing multiple positions and shows his versatility.

LOL at him dropping tons of pics! No way he dropped tons. Some of those, numbskull, were balls he purposely batted down.

I grew out of calling people names on the internet about 5 years ago. You should try it, though it does require a little bit of maturity.

Hahahaha, in your dreams buddy. Nothing wrong with supporting your team, but don't make ignorant statements. This is absurd.

McClain is considered to be the top inside linebacker coming out this year. He'll probably be a top 10 ALONG WITH BERRY.

haha. You got to be kidding

This is his first year of watching football, he doesn't know any better. Around this time next year he'll have a new team and username. Sadly, his ignorant comments will still slow down society attempting to move forward, but again he doesn't know any better.

I know who he is genius...he just won't go before EB. Don't you know how to read? You just keep proving my points. Pick up a book and read for God's sakes, what is wrong with you?

Were was your ass on the forums when Florida gave UT an ass whipping, 59-20 I recall?

Or the UCLA loss? Or after UT had that disastrous 05 year? Where were ya then?

Even if what Berry says is true, he shouldn't say it. I hope it's an agent talking behind him. He needs to stay humble and not be like the rest of the mouths in the NFL.

That's not helping your ludicrous argument.

You won't hear anyone that knows any ball at all beating down McClain the way you are Berry.

Haha, is that how it plays out? Just name old losses? Should I bring up 1995-2006? How about that decade where you all weren't worth a crap. Where were you?

Exactly, McClain is one hell of a football player, but I don't think he gets drafted before EB.

I wouldn't give two dead flies for the opinions of those posters on the article or the trolls in here. EB will let his actions on the field do his talking in the final analysis.

Actually, you started all of this with some ignorant Lane Kiffin comment, correct? Yes, he left. He also happens to be the HC at Southern Cal. Where the hell is Mike Shula? Where were you then?

Shula is the QB's coach in Jacksonville for the Jags I believe.

And it looks like we have something in common when it comes to Lane Kiffin.
