With his 54 yard interception return yesterday, Berry became the career leader in INT return yardage at UT. He now has 325 career return yards.

Merge if you want, I thought a record was worth it.

what are the chances he breaks UT's record for most INTs in a career?

Record is 18, and he currently has 9. If he stays all four years it is very possible he breaks 20, but its very doubtful he stays around that long.

i think he could get to 12 by the end of the year and if he does he could break it next season.

I really liked Bobby Majors and Dale Carter and Deon were great, but Berry is by far the best I have seen.

He's great at returns, why doesn't the coaching staf have him return punts and kicks.

if we suck so bad, and have no playmakers, then why not put Eric Berry on every team?? and brent vinson too, and all the fastest guys??? put them on offense too.....who cares, can't be worse, if talent is the problem, haha....

that didn't stop USC from putting Bush back there and look at how that turned out.
do you know how many fans and players would be pissed at Fulmer if we did that and he got hurt? probably the 3% that arent already.

If he got hurt, our star player would be gone.
same reason Moreno doesnt return kicks

Berry is really our only star player right now (G. Jones is not quite there yet).

In 2005, USC had:
Bush
Jarrett
Leinart
Steve Smith
White

Losing Bush would have hurt the margin of victory for the Trojans...

if putting him back there gives us a chance to win, put him back there. if he gets hurt, yea it would be a huge blow. but it is football, people will get hurt.
