Basically he said that he is the best DB in the draft and his combine performance only solidified that. Jim asked him if it is unreasonable to draft a safety with the first pick and EB said he is not a safety...he is a football player (I liked that part). Jim asked him about Coach X leaving and if he had hard feelings....EB said that SC was Coach X's dream job. If Texas or Ohio State would have called, EB didn't think that Coach X would have left. EB told Rome that he was leaving for the draft early to support his family. He said that his mother had recently been laid off. EB did a lot of self promoting at the beginning telling Rome why he was the best DB in the country and how other teams (Tebow) would point out where #14 (EB) was lined up before the plays. He said this was the reason for the drop-off in INTS this year. Rome asked EB whether he would rather have an INT or a big hit on defense. EB's response was that he would take an INT anyday because he gets the ball in his hands and gets the defense off the field. He said that in HS he was a QB and at times was envious of the WRs because they got the ball. EB told Fulmer when he got to Knoxville that he was a DB and didn't care where they played him. EB told Rome that he has played every position in the secondary and that is why he is the best in the draft.
