It's a shame. If EB somehow didn't have such high draft status I bet he could mold JJ into a good and responsible student athlete. And JJ is a good kid, I actually got to walk him to his first class on the hill (he was lost and couldn't find the EPS building) and he was a soft and well spoken kid. He obviously is just a "cool" kid who can hang out with the wrong people or smoke a little grass occasionally. I really hope Kiffin keeps him on the team and he shows all his doubters wrong.

I'm not gonna lie, when I saw the headline, I thought it had something to do with Eric berry returning next season. Haha oh well. I wish Janzen would have played more video games with Eric. Maybe like NCAA 09. He can be like "look that's me represented in the #14 jersey. If you continue to improve and stay on the team, you can be represented too." "Don't mess it up."

EB said everything that happened hurt and bothered him but he hadn't really discussed any of it with JJ.

also said he hadn't made any final decision to go pro yet at the end of the year.

im sure over half the team smokes "grass" at every program. i just really hope that when they do it is at a place where they dont have to leave and get caught

I concur. I'm saying that shouldn't be a reason for him to get the boot. IMO drinking alcohol is way more detrimental to your health, emotions, and mind than smoking da bud.

Funny thing is, in some states smoking the grass isn't even a crime...

I hear it's a major recruiting pitch at USC :p

cmon man he's young. theirs nobody on this board that hasn't looked back on their life and said damn that was stupid of me. He gets one more chance in my book after that though. GOOD RIDDANCE
